Sad but true, the 2015 Summer Season is quickly drawing to a close.
For some, that means it’s the perfect time to head to the beach. They can enjoy everything our area has to offer without the crowds. There is more room to stretch out on the beach, shorter or no lines at restaurants, less traffic, the weather is still great, and best of all, the rates are lower in the shoulder season.
Join us for the final holiday of the summer, Labor Day. This holiday is less crowded than the 4th of July or Memorial Day. You can still enjoy free music, fireworks and more. Head on down to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk for Fireworks by the Sea and Boardwalk Blast or Boogie in the Park at the Kure Beach Ocean Front Park.
October opens with the 37th Annual Riverfest in Downtown Wilmington. Here you will find craft vendors, events for the kids, live entertainment on several stages, delicious festival food, fireworks and more. The following weekend brings the 22nd Annual Pleasure Island Seafood Blues and Jazz Festival back to Kure Beach. This year’s headliners are Dr. John and the Nite Trippers along with Shemekia Copeland. It’s a weekend of great food & music.
If this is your time of the year to vacation at the beach you’ll want to take advantage of our August and September special. Save 15% off the published rates on participating properties.
