Dolphin View is an oceanfront house with breath taking views, and enough room for the whole family. Starting on the ground level, you will find parking in the driveway, as well as parking in two garages. There is access through the garage to the back yard, and plenty of storage for your beach equipment. On the first living floor you have all of your living space; a spacious kitchen with an island and bar seating, a dining room with plenty of seating for great family meals, and a living room with a large flat screen tv, perfect for movie nights! This floor has a very spacious oceanfront porch, great for dolphin watching during the day and star gazing at night. On this floor you also have the first bedroom with a queen bed, and a full bathroom that has access to the main living space.
Upstairs you will fine the remaining 3 bedrooms. The two guest bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom with two sinks and a bathtub and shower. The first guest bedroom has a queen bed, and the 2nd guest bedroom has a queen bed along with bunk beds. This bunk bed room also has access to the 2nd floor oceanfront balcony. Across the hall you will find the master suite. This room has a king bed, a TV, full bathroom, and access to the oceanfront deck. Also upstairs you have a great reading alcove, complete with a day bed and trundle!

"We had a wonderful time at this beach house! Would book this again. View was spectacular; water and sand terrific; area active but not over crowded.
Shortest distance to beach with private access we have ever had. Clean, neat, bright upon arrival. No maintenance issues. A short nine minute drive to nearest Food Lion; not crowded. Quick walk to convenience store with Jack Mackerel's restaurant across the street from store.
Ferry to Southport just down the road. Cute shops and restaurants for exploring; Bullfrog Corner, the Christmas Shop and Yacht Basin Eatery.
Wilmington at night is lit up and active even mid-week. Evening tours and carriage rides. Kilwinn's ice-cream store is worth a visit for fudge, ice-cream, candy!
More about beach house: Able to park 5 vehicles overnight on property with additional day parking in public lot right next door. Kitchen is surprisingly well stocked (sharp knives, electric fry pan, small kettle grill for outdoor barbecuing).
Was easy to work with pleasant Intracoastal Realty staff. They returned calls/emails to me quickly with answers to questions.

"The house had a lot of issues. The coffee makers didn’t work. I bought a new one and left it for next renter. It was a house for dogs but had carpets something that I wouldn’t do. Your rental site did not mention that Kure Beach where the hose is located never permits dogs on the beach in the summer, that would have changed my choice. Lastly two of the shower doors fell off during use. The master bathroom shower door fell off and dropped directly on my toe requiring a trip to urgent care. Summary too many issues not addressed."

"Dolphin View was well stocked for our large group. The house was very clean and organised made it easy to relax. The unit had plenty of parking. Loved have private beach access and life guard stand right in front the house. We had an amazing week we will rent this home again."

The traffic on the main road wasnt too loud, and having a lifeguard station right in front of the house was a nice perk. "

"House was within walking distance of the town, which is always a plus. It is right by a lifeguard stand, great if you have children. We thought that being next to a public beach access would be a negative, however it was no problem at all. The garage was filled with beach equipment but seeing that the description does not state that we brought all our own. We had a toddler with us and brought baby gates. If you are bringing young children you definitely need something for the stairs. All in all we had a great time.
We did call the property management when we first got there. The guests before us left many plastic bags filled with garbage inside the garage. Someone did come right away to pick-up the garbage.
Our biggest problem was ants. Those gel traps that were in the house is a no no for young children or small dogs. In all fairness we did not call management to deal with them because of the children and the dog. I tried to keep up with them with spray cleaner and cloroax wipes. I really think it needs to be professionally done.
lastly ask pet owners not to leave food or treats all over the garage or decking, it may be detrimental to the next pet that comes to visit.
I would rent this house again.

"We loved our time at Dolphin View! The house was perfect for our needs. We have a large family and were very comfortable there. The beach was beautiful. There is a lifeguard stand right there on 'our beach' and a public parking area nextdoor for the days we had friends come visit, although there was plenty of parking at the house also. Intracoastal was great to work with - Helen Gainer accurately assessed our family needs and found the perfect place for us. Being right on the beach was perfect for the young kids to run back and forth to the house, and being near the pier was fun for the teens to go play pool and 'hang out'. We will definitely be returning and look forward to working again with Helen and Intracoastal."
