Relax! You'll have no worries in this tastefully decorated oceanfront townhouse. This end unit has everything your group could need. There is parking for 2 cars, one of which is a covered spot. On the entry level is the washer dryer, mud room, and access to the back ground patio with an outdoor shower. Upstairs you will find the main living area. There is a large spacious living, dining, and kitchen area. Granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, plenty of seating, and hardwood floors are some of the great amenities on this level. You also have one bedroom with two twin beds and a full bathroom.
Upstairs are the remaining two bedrooms. First is the guest bedroom with bunk beds and a twin bed. This bedroom also has a full private bathroom. Oceanfront is the master bedroom with a king bed and large private bathroom. There is also an oceanfront deck off this bedroom; amazing views of the ocean, Johnny Mercer's Pier, and enjoy the ocean breeze!

"Gorgeous ocean front home! Perfect for our girls trip!! Plenty of beds, bathrooms and the kitchen was equipped with all of our needs. The ocean front decks were perfect for our group! Wonderful stay! Can’t wait to come back next year!!!"
"Overall, we enjoyed our 3 nights at Guill-Holton. Our stay was in mid January so weather was not the greatest, cold, rainy. However, heat worked well and we stayed cozy. The two suggestions I have to offer, the TV in the master bedroom upstairs did not work. We tried numerous times to get it going and resetting everything but no luck. Not a great big deal to us, but, it was not working. Secondly, The town home was "clean" and had been cleaned after the last visitors left. However, it was very dusty. We are just assuming the dust that had accumulated between rentals. Here again, nothing major to us, it took us maybe 30 minutes to dust everything down. Very spacious town home and bed in Mater bedroom was very comfortable. Town home has definitely been used and was showing wear. Furniture dated but comfortable. Great location to several of things in Wrightsville and to the beach. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. "

"This is our third time staying at this home steps from the ocean. The house is very clean and roomy with a great view of the ocean from the master bedroom. It is well stocked with appliances and very conveniently located as only a half mile of less from the center of town. One negative is all three Televisions were out at various times and we had to call maintenance twice and were told cable connection needs updating. Owner needs to look into this. Otherwise it was a great place and we would return. "

"Good...location is perfect... can walk anywhere....views are beautiful, felt private. Looks like pictures when you first walk in. (note...fireplace in the picture does not work).
room in cupboards for groceries. They were jammed full of dishes and more utensils than anyone could use. We had to put our groceries on counters or floor.
Ugly.. The living room furniture is old, saggy, uncomfortable and looks worn and dirty. There are old slipcovers on old furniture. Also,the throw pillows and throw blankets need to be replaced. The master bed spread had two holes in it as did one on a twin bed. Spreads were very worn.
The Intercoastal Rental agency was very easy to work with. They were pleasant and very attentive. I did voice these concerns to them. I know they do not take care of the properties but they were responsive to my concerns. I hope they will mention these concerns to other potential renters. They said they would share our concerns with the property managers and owners. I have noticed that others have complained about the furniture but so far it has not been taken care of.
This property would be a great pick if these issues are resolved. I would find out before I booked it. If they replace a few things and organize the kitchen a bit better I would recommend it....If not keep looking.
Having said all of that, we had a great time in Wrightsville Beach. That is what matters. I just wanted to give other renters some honest feedback and things to consider. Pick a place and enjoy!!!

"This beach house was perfect for location. We traveled with our son and his grandparents so schleping all the beach stuff made it really easy (esp. when we wanted to refill our coolers or needed to go the bathroom). The best was strolling our son to the main part of
Wrightsville to get pizza, Robert's Grocery for their famous chicken salad, trolley stop for a yummy frankfurter and ice cream.
There were 2 unfortunate scenarios: 1. towards the end of our trip the water had to be shut down because of an unforseen water leak - none of the condos had a leak but water was running from somewhere. Definitely annoying but everyone on staff reacted to the situation promptly and a generous refund was provided. 2. The slip covers to the couch in the living room definitely needs cleaning. It had a mildew smell to it.
Overall - great house, great views, many dishes and cookware in the kitchen and great vacation. Thank you!!! "

"We enjoyed the house because of the size and location. However, the house is listed as not pet friendly. This is fine except the living smelled like a pet had marked the furniture. Additionally, I am a renter who will pay a little more for conveniences - I would prefer linens to be included instead of having to bring them or contract for them separately. Basics like paper towels, soap, trash bags would also be a nice inclusion. We were there for a short stay and weren't doing a lot of cooking. I found myself going to the grocery store to get some of these basics which seem standard in other rentals. Again, the property is great due to its location and the fact that it is right on the beach. I'd likely look at renting other properties before I selected this one again. "

"Nice to wake up and see the ocean in the morning. The place was clean and everything was set up to enjoy our stay. The only problem we had was some of the beds. The main bed was very comfortable, but the upstairs secondary beds were very uncomfortable and creaked really loudly when you turned over. Mine creaked so loud, it woke up the person sleeping on the floor below me!.I didnt sleep well and woke up aching every morning...Those mattresses need changing.The access was easy and the parking was great."
"This is our 10th year renting this townhouse. We have always loved the location and the beauty of the interior. Last year it wasn't up to normal standards regarding cleanliness. I complained and Intracoastal listened. This year the townhouse was impeccably clean. Our daughter married her Air Force love during our stay and we celebrated with a nice dinner for 15 at the Sunspree Holiday Inn Express. It was perfect since she had been coming with us for 10 years to this unit. Wonderful memories, wonderful time. We will continue to come back every year as long as it is available. "
"This place was perfect for our young family. The location to the beach is ideal and it isn't overly crowded during the week. The house itself is very nicely decorated and made you feel like you were staying in a home rather than a beach rental (i.e. limited/tasteful beach themed decor and no wicker). The kitchen is BEAUTIFUL and had everything I needed to cook for 5 days. Cons: The sofa has seen better days. It isn't too uncomfortable, but it isn't the fresh looking sofa that appears in the pictures either. There is only 1 bathtub that has a really awkward glass half wall...makes it really hard to gives baths to little kids. There is also little to no space to store dry foods. With all this said, none of these cons would deter us from staying at Guill-Holton again. In fact, we can't wait for our next stay!"

Our daughter, two college sons, their two friends and my husband and I
loved out week even 'tho the weather was rainy and cool. We played cards, watched family videos and Christmas TV. The condo is big enough
for all of those people and even a Christmas Tree. Cooking dinner was
not a chore as the kitchen is so well equiped as was the entire condo.
The only problem was the dish washer which we needed with all of those people. It left a film on the dishes. Maintenance came and worked on it but it still needs attention. The beach was a delight to walk on the days the
sun was out."

"We have been renting this unit for 10 years. This is the first time we had an issue. The first floor toilet didn't work. The fan in the living room didn't work. There was mold in the second floor guest bath. There were no bath rugs but on the 5th day we found them in the washing machine along with hand towels soaked and smelly from mildew. We had to re-was them. The dumpster outside was so full and heavy when we took our own garbage out that the garbage man complained when they picked it up. Obviously the garbage was never taken out the previous week. We love staying in this unit and I treat it as though it were my own. I keep a very clean house and historically, this unit has always measured up. It's a beautiful place and I hope it stays that way "

"We had the unfortunate experience of being at the worse location/worse timing possible for the dredging project at Wrightsville beach. The horribly noisy 24/7 mess of bulldozers were directly behind our oceanfront property at 14A Shearwater St. We flew in from Chicago and Denver, and had no warning about this, not even at check in. We finally did move on day 5, but it completely ruined our vacation. Intracoastal Realty should have been proactive in preventing this from happening.
I would recommend the specific property, but not Intracoastal's communication skills!"
6/12 So sorry this guest dealt with this situation. We talked to the guest every day, helped in every way possible, and did all we could financially. It is unfortunate this occurred, but they were not the only guests faced with this issue. If we could have prevented it we would have, but unfortunately we cannot control the dredging the Army Corps of Engineers chooses to do. CMM

"The property location was fabulous. Great views out both floor decks of the ocean and a very short walk to the beach, Unit was well equipped (DVDs in every bedroom) and very clean. Only thing missing was a grill, but plenty of great dining choices nearby and fully equipped kitchen. "

"The property was beautiful. However, there were significant electrical shorts. Could not use hair dryers in bath rooms. Could not use toaster and coffee pot. Had to constantly reset breakers. When I called the management company they laughed. Yeah we know was the response. Two days latter they sent someone who was not qualified to work on the issue"
So sorry they had this issue. The problem has now been resolved, and the response has been addressed with the staff.
"Perfect house for the bride as she and her bridesmaids get ready for the wedding. Plenty of room in the great room for lunch, hair stylist, makeup artist and photographer. Plenty of storage for all the wedding decorations. Her parents loved waking up to the sunrise in the lovely Master bedroom hearing the ocean!! Wonderful weekend for a wedding. Need to come back and spend a few days with no pressure. Easy walk to the beach and to the pier. Certainly close to all the action. "

"This rental has a great location, but what makes it stand out is how absolutely super clean it is. In addition, the furnishings are comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. The bottom level is organized for convenience, with a covered place to hang wet clothes, and a spacious laundry area. I especially like having (clean) curtains on the windows instead of the usual plastic vertical blinds that are almost always broken. Thanks very much for a great stay!"

"We loved the property and have a great realtor from Intracoastal Realty, but we were baffled by the utter lack of interest and competence from their rental agency. They rarely answered the telephone. They neglected to confirm our reservation. They did not return our messages (we had property maintenance issues). It's amazing that they are a viable business. Our only conclusion is that they must be a monopoly or nearly so. Otherwise, I don't know why anyone would rent from a company with such a lack of professionalism or customer care. Truly amazing."
