Station One is located in the heart of Wrightsville beach, an easy walk to shops, restaurants and the public docks where you can sit under the gazebo and enjoy the boating activity on the sound.

"Overall everything went very well. The property was in a great location (as advertised) and it was easy to access and well furnished. Only minor feedback is that the toilets tend to run constantly and the bed in the master bedroom has a significant dip in the middle. We would definitely stay here again."

"You just can't beat the view from this top-floor condo. In general, the building was quiet, and not too crowded at beach or pool. Our unit was a little worn - but we understand the owners have it on the market, so perhaps to be expected. Station One is a great location - able to walk to many excellent restaurants. "
"Hartsook 8F was clean and comfortable, and had great ocean views. I could hear the oceans roar when I went to sleep. Location is in town, yet scenic, quiet and very secure. Over all, we were pleased with the property. Since the unit is privately owned, some things were not included, such as paper towels and napkins, coffee filters,dish liquid and hangers. Master bedroom has a foam mattress which was a bit too firm for me: mattresses in the other bedroom seemed a bit dated. We found three cockroaches, but they seemed to come via a loose pipe gasket in the bathroom, and not because of any cleanliness issues in the condo. Intracoastal was responsive to our concerns. I would recommend it.
Airlie Gardens is a pretty place to visit. Wilmington Riverwalk and historic houses are worth a visit.Cameron Museum of Art has changing exhibits; one gallery had photos, the other had NC artists.There are lots of good restaurants in the area; our favorites are Boca Bay and Brasserie du Soleil. Port Land Grille and Port City Grille are fine for steaks. Ceviches is a Panamanian restaurant with interesting Latin-flavored dishes and four kinds of ceviche (marinated fish)."
"The view was excellent and patio was nice if you could open the sliding doors! They were very, very heavy and hard to open. No extra toilet paper, no paper towels, no dishwashing detergent for dishwasher or hand washing dishes, and no extra garbage bags were provided - so go prepared to either take a lot of these things or go to the grocery store when you get there. You may also want to take wash cloths since only 1 per person was provided. The bathrooms are very dated. The master shower/toilet room is very small and dark and there are almost no places to hang bath towels to dry. This is the only unit at Station One we have stayed in, so not sure how it compares to other units. The pool needed vacuuming, but was quiet and the area was nice in general. There are restaurants within walking distance. "

It is stated in our contracts that consumable products (such as toiletries and detergent) are not included. For your convenience we provide hand soap for every sink, a trash bag for every can, and a roll of toilet paper for every bathroom. The linens provided in each unit include 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel, and 1 wash cloth per guest, plus bath mats and kitchen towels. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay overall. "Nice rental. On the beach. Well kept property. Walking distance to several good restaurants and coffee shop. One major annoyance: the door leading from the beach to the resort is kept locked--but the key provided doesn't work. management is well aware but isn't getting it fixed. So you can yell out to guests in the pool to let you in and that sometimes works or walk all the way around to the front, covered in sand. "
"We stayed for two weeks and love the location, building and amenities. One drawer front in the master was broken, but other than that everything was great."

"Overall, the property was satisfactory. The pool area, access to the beach, and view from the property were all great. Furnishings in the unit were good. We were disappointed in the lack of kitchen supplies (no bowls, very few pots/pans, even though it was described as well equipped). Bed linens were so stiff and coarse as to be almost unusable. The unit was not cleaned very well around kitchen and bath faucets."

"property owners are not as accommodating as they have been in the last35 yrs. Can't get enough keys, inadequate supply of linens, not enough tvs for the rooms, lack of privacy with
guards, repairman just unlocking doors and coming into the property. There once was a thing called a telephone when station 1 personnel would call the renter to inform them
of visits, etc. also, I received a call on my WV home phone when I returned saying that it was 10:36 am and I was 36 minutes late returning the key when in fact I was on the lot
loading my vehicle. Really??? Was that really
necessary? Also, if my son-in-law had been able to join us he could not have parked his vehicle on the lot because we could only get 2 parking passes. where did the last property owners board go? For over 30 yrs I really felt comfortable and welcomed at Station I. The Mrs. Greens, etc. were very nice people. On a brighter note, I liked the upgrade at the pool area and the painting on the ground floor was very nice. On the downside also, the laundry rooms are stifling hot because there is
no way to keep the doors open and the fans don't work. Overall I have stayed at Station I anywhere between 30 to 40 times and I love the view and location. Its our go to place. "

"We had a very nice time at Wrightsville Beach. My only complaint was about Station One - Hartsook. This is a lovely unit that has obviously been upgraded. Everything has been upgraded except the tub in the master bathrooom and the shower in the second bathroom. The hardware (faucet, shower head, handles) had rust, mold and God knows what else on them. These need to be replaced. That tub and shower were nasty and should have been updated along with the rest of this unit.

"There is no better location at a wrightsville. Checkin and out was simple. The pool, showers and beach couldn't be more convenient. The condo itself needs some upgrade to make it really feel like a comfortable get away. "

"Location was nice-able to walk to restaurants and a little shopping. Did not like the 4pm check-in ,actually it was later due to having the unit to be checked. Not sure what was being checked - the dishes were still in the dish washer not really clean. In the master bedroom none of the lamps were plugged in and the clock was under the bed, the headboard was dusty-could have been vacuumed. Two burned out lights and a leaky sink in the kitchen had to be fixed. I also had to get a light bulb for another light. I hand washed all dishes while there-would recommend a new dishwasher. Also, another TV in the 2nd bedroom would be nice. I was able to see other condos and felt our unit could be updated more. Also the noise from the roof unit was annoying as were the uncomfortable high chairs on the terrace. On a positive note, it was nice to have the beds made on arrival and a roll of toilet paper there. Also, ease of key drop off , beach and pool great. I would recommend the complex for location but a different unit. "
7/12 I'm glad this guest enjoyed the linens, "starter" bathroom kit, our on site office, and the amenities at the unit. I will be discussing with Housekeeping about her disappointment in the unit upon arrival. We hope we can have her back again! CMM
