Here Comes the Sun is the ultimate family vacation destination on Bald Head Island's exclusive East Beach. This gorgeous oceanfront property can host multiple families, and features a spacious first-floor primary suite and sitting room, along with two king-bed en suites upstairs (one with a private balcony), and one bunk-bed en suite upstairs (with three sets of bunks). The home has gorgeous 360-degree wrap-around porches on the main level with a hot tub available for an extra fee. From the upstairs deck, you will enjoy watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee and a ridiculously breathtaking view of the Shoals and Atlantic Ocean. When you’ve had your fill of sun for the day, relax under the top deck’s sheltered gazebo. Stay here and you will have your own private beach access boardwalk with six beach chairs, beach toys galore, and an outdoor shower to wash off before coming back inside. Cook for your crew in the well-appointed gourmet chef's kitchen outfitted with every need including a wine fridge and icemaker. Hang out with family and friends in the two-story great room with vaulted ceilings. Make use of the numerous bikes or take a short walk to the Shoals Club or the Conservancy from this sought-after location. Brand new televisions are equipped with popular apps for streaming guests’ personal subscriptions.

Temporary memberships are available for both BHI Club and Shoals Club. Comfortably sleeps 12 (max). 4 bedrooms (1K-1K-1K-3BB). 4 full baths, 1 half bath. (1) recently upgraded 4-passenger cart, (1) 6-passenger cart. High-speed internet. Minimum weekly stay Memorial Day-Labor Day. Peak Season check-in/check-out is Saturday/Saturday. 4:00pm ferry/10:30am departure ferry.

The Hot Tub is optional, if you prefer to not use the hot tub the fee will be removed at your request. Please inquire with staff or when booking online request in the notes section. Hot Tub sign out key will be available after check-in.

Due to the beach nourishment in Spring of 2023, ocean views and beach access have been impacted by the additional sand.

Lovely Property

Our family of 8 had a spectacular week at Here Comes the Sun which is saying a lot since we had Tropical Storm Debby pay us a visit mid-week. The home has a great floor plan with plenty of open space for games, dining, and tv/movies, but also quiet nooks to tuck away w a book. It's well equipped and ideally located. Beach access is ideal. Access to both clubs is a plus. We had a couple of electrical glitches which were handled smoothly and quickly by Intracoastal.

Best EVER Beach House on BHI

We have been vacationing on BHI for 15 years. We splurged in October 2022 for our daughter's wedding at Shoals Club and for the best beach front house on BHI. Here Comes the Sun was beyond our expectations. The house was perfect for our large family - golf carts & outdoor grill/kitchen/amenities - all worked great and the location was priceless. The beds were extremely comfortable and the main floor family room/kitchen was impeccable. The outdoor areas were expansive and well appointed. We could not have asked for more. I would also like to add that the staff at BHI Intercoastal Realty were incredibly responsive, accommodating and professional. This was an incredibly memorable time for my daughter, new son-in-law and our family/friends - Here Comes the Sun could not have been more perfect! A huge THANK YOU to the beach house home owners and to the incredible staff at BHI Intercoastal!

Wonderful vacation

Our family of 10 stayed at Here Come The Sun. It is a wonderful home and very spacious. Golf carts ran great. Few things I would recommend is kitchen stools and table chair pads were very stained and unattractive. The large beautiful master bathroom shower floor could be addressed along with the air vent near toilet. People need to know the large master closet is locked off leaving just a small area in bathroom to hang clothes. The claw foot tub in upstairs bath is beautiful but that leaves only 2 showers upstairs for 8 people. Outside deck table and chairs could be updated. These were small things compared to the wonderful layout of home and large beautiful kitchen. First timers and family would love to come back.
