This cleverly designed cottage features a reverse floor plan and sweeping ocean views from the second-floor living area and deck. 2023 has brought a new style and flare to this much-sought-after beach home. During the winter and spring months of 2022-2023, renovations were completed to include a new kitchen, expansion of the second-floor deck as well and changed interiors. Isle Be Back (formally Laurie's Loft) is a refreshing vacation experience.

The new kitchen boasts new appliances, and an island and will be fully equipped ready for guests to cook up their favorite dishes. The ocean view was enhanced with new accordion doors to the newly expanded front porch just off the living room. The new outdoor shower area is an excellent place to wash off the beach sand.

4 bedrooms (1K-1Q-1Q,1 single-1Q). 3 full baths. 1 half bath. (1) 4-passenger cart (1) 6-passenger cart. Adjacent to beach access. High-Speed Internet. Week only Memorial Day - Labor Day. Saturday/Saturday. 5:00 p.m. ferry/11:30 a.m. departure ferry.

During the winter months of 2023/2024. A two-story deck on the West side of the home with a spiral staircase connecting the two decks will offer additional outdoor gathering space.

Golf Carts are in need of replacement. The four seater cart could not hold a charge.

Much needed get away

My experience was great. It was an easy transaction, the rental company was very informative, they used an APP to assist with the routine questions, provided daily updates etc.

The house was neat and tidy. I felt safe and I felt at home.

There were a few small things that the rental company may need to check:
1. Front door lock and the garage lock were very hard to use, it may need to be lubricated
2. Since it’s an island there are pests that like to make appearances, the cleaning crew should pay attention to bug carcasses when cleaning
3. There were no lights in the garage, that could be a safety issue
4. The final item, there was a fire on the island, several houses were damaged, the property team should have provided an update and reassurance to the renters that their rentals were ok and the fire was contained and reassuring that the island was safe, the rental property was not near the fire and was not damaged....bottom line there should have been a notice other than the a news blurb.

Great Location

Had a great 2 week vacation with all of our older kids coming and going as their schedules allowed. It was great to be together. There are no houses between you and the beach so the view is AMAZING!The pest control maintenance needs increased, the air conditioning struggled to keep the house a comfortable temperature because the weather was so hot. But we had a great time.
