Station One - 1J

Title says it all: good location, nice accommodations, reasonable price. Pool is nice, beach access is easy. Kitchen could use some updates (coffee pot, utensils, add a toaster). New floors, comfortable couch.

Great location and view, would probably pick a higher unit next time due to the pool noise.
I was surprised to learn the unit had no wager & dryer given the price point. I was told when I called there were coin-operated units on every floor but there were none on the first floor. The ones on the second floor were not in working order. We had to go up to the third floor.
The room was clean however three were tiny gnats flying around everywhere. Not sure where these came from but they were annoying.
Lastly the master bath shower was very clogged up the entire time. Every time you would shower the tub would fill up to about half full and the sand would never drain. It was disgusting.

This was our first stay at Station One and it was great for my teenage son and his friend to have access to all the fun spots. It would have been nice to have a set of twin beds instead of two kings. Dated coffee maker-- please update. I do more cooking than most beach goers so the kitchen was very basic and I did bring a good knife from home-- always do.Pans seemed a bit lacking.The sofa was updated since picture was taken-- very nice addition-- could use a club chair was quieter than I expected but it was hard to remember to bring a key everywhere bc you needed key to access everything which was a little bothersome but nice for safety reasons. Helpful guest showed me where to keep beach gear and ice maker and the ins and outs which was nice. They have luggage trollies and grocery carts to help with schlepping in a high rise. Fine trip overall for me and two teenage boys.

The beach was super crowded and very narrow with a public access point right next to the condo.

Pool area was a bit dated, landscaping was scarce and old. Unit was redone, but kitchen needs new cabinets and counters and shower/tub were very small and dated. Couch was a Costco or Rooms to Go special and did not offer enough seating for 4 adults. All window treatments throughout the unit were very inadequate and did not block sunlight in the early morning. Loud building, you can hear every noise and tv from adjoining units. Coffee pot only made 3 or 4 small cups of coffee and no clock radio in bedrooms.

To be totally fair, we live in a beachfront resort area year-round and it’s very hard to impress us with beaches. If you are coming from a cold place or somewhere without a beach close by, you’ll think you are in paradise in this property.

Great location: close to beach and restaurants.
Mostly issues were with kitchen area: Dated, 5 cup coffee maker, no toaster
No screens in slider which wasn’t an issue in May but it would have to become one as summer progressed
Slider from bedroom was welded shut
