The privacy of the Maritime Forest and spacious back porch offer a shaded respite and added privacy. A spiral outside staircase provides access to a rooftop porch perfect for observing panoramic views of the island. The spacious reverse floorplan provides one level sleeping arrangements and main living areas that maximize ocean and forest views. Sleeps 10 (max.). 4 bedrooms (1K-1Q-1Q-2BB, 1S). 4 full baths. (2) 4 passenger carts. Fireplace. Wifi. One minute to beach access. 7 night minimum year round. Saturday/Saturday. 5:30 p.m. arrival/11:30 a.m. departure.

Wonderful Friends & Family Time!

Great rental experience- the only negatives would be the golf carts. For a house that easily sleeps 11+, there are only 2x 4-seater golf carts included, so we did have to rent an additional one for the week. But this house easily and comfortably accommodated our 3 families! The layout is great- some of the rooms are a bit outdated, but it more than served our needs for a week on the beach.

We loved Summer House

Intracoastal Realty was a pleasure to work with, as we had a moving arrival target. We had a golf cart issue that was resolved within 30 minutes. The only bummer was the tear sheet on the house said 3- 4person golf carts, and we only had 2. The house was great though. The upper deck furniture was rotted and unusable. One barstool's arm was broken, so we moved it aside.

Not exactly a dream vacation

Loved this house and the amazing view. Did not love the issues we experienced with the golf carts and electrical outlets. First of all, if you are advertising a house that sleeps 10 (but actually sleeps 11), you need to have at a minimum a 6 passanger and 4 passenger golf cart. Upon arrival, we had to pick up a rental cart for the week (added expense). Second, you should check the quality of the golf carts prior to each rental. Upon arrival, one of the golf carts was not functional at all. The rental company had to send us a replacement. On day 2, the replacement would not charge due to an issue with the electrical outlets. Had constant issues with the TV in the master bedroom. On the 5th day, the tire on the other house golf cart blew and we were stranded with kids and leftovers. We lost many hours dealing with golf cart issues and it made for an unpleasant experience. Another thing to note, the back door on the main level would never stay closed. Numerous times I would walk downstairs to a very humid and unpleasant room.

Loved the Summer House

Roomy and well-appointed home in a great “dune ridge” location on BHI! Great experience with rental booking, check-in (early!), check-out and all pre-arrival communication.

Summer House

Our stay on Baldhead Island was great. The ferry not so great. There was limited seating on the ferry of 75 which I understood and appreciated. What I did not understand was not running two ferry during the time people like myself were waiting in the sun 3 hours to board.
