Our vacation rentals are cleaned and sanitized by disinfectants that are EPA registered for use against COVID-19 (the coronavirus). Our linens are commercially cleaned, and dried using an EPA approved commercial sanitizing agent and are left sealed in plastic at the foot of each bed.

Archer is a classic oceanfront beach cottage, great for a laid back family vacation. This town house as 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, two ocean front decks, and covered parking. The first floor has a guest bedroom with a queen bed, flat screen TV, and a full bathroom with access to the bedroom and the hallway. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need for a dinner in with the family! There is bar seating for 4 at the kitchen counter, and a dining room table for 4 near the ocean front balcony. The living room has a flat screen TV, plenty of seating for the family to relax and watch a movie, and an ocean front balcony. The balcony has views of Johnny Mercer's Pier and the crashing ocean waves.
Upstairs you will find the remaining two bedrooms. The washer dryer is in the hallway between these two bedrooms. The second guest bedroom has two twin beds and a private full bathroom. The master bedroom has a king bed, large full bathroom, and oceanfront balcony. This top floor balcony has sweeping ocean front views, great to unwind in the evening or to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning.

"The management company was great! I received a telephone call shortly after booking and another one the day before check-in. The sheets, towels and mattresses were slightly above average. We had a wonderful weekend, the location can't be beat. My only criticism is that the cookware is very very beat up. We had to go out and purchase our own frying pan. The carpet is in pretty bad shape as well. I normally would not comment except that we spent over $830.00 for one weekend so I would expect these small things to be better maintained."
"Great location, furniture and decor was very well used and comfortable. Kitchen was well equiped.
Porch light fixture was broken and needs replacement.
Various loud rattling around the first floor included a ceiling fan, chimney, and HVAC unit outside the bedroom of the guestroom.
Overall, I would say this place is average in condition and excellent in location.
I would recommend this place for a sunny day."
"The location was just perfect. Walking distance to the wedding venue and many restaurants, shops and bars. Could use a little updating but was very clean. The only issue we had was the electrical outlets in the master bath weren't working. No big deal as there were several others in the master bedroom.I would definitely stay in Archer again."

"Dried urine stains on the toilet and a leaking ceiling about sum it up. Ceiling leaked when rained, carpet was gross, bathrooms faucet wasn’t cleaned and there was dried urine on the toilet. Property Is in need of a facelift and updating throughout ."

"We had a good time as we were with best of friends. The condo however is very outdated. The doors stuck and were peeling, plumbing in showers need changing. We weren't able to get hot water from the master bed/bath until Saturday night. The deck was boarded off with plywood and was an eyesore plus we couldn't come and go from the beach. You couldn't view the ocean due to over growing tree that totally blocked it. We paid for what the description provided, we didn't get that. We should and are requesting some type of compensation. I am sure if this place was given TLC and the outside plant and trees taken care of, it would be enjoyable and worth the money, but the condition and state we got it in, it definately was not."
We are so sorry you experienced issues during your stay. We are so sorry you had a maintenance issue during your stay we would have loved the opportunity to address it at that time. "We had a fabulous week at Archer. Although the interior is a bit older, it was clean and super functional. The king bed in the master was amazingly comfortable. The view from the top deck is spectacular and the overall location can't be beat. "

"I'll start with the good- the location was awesome. Close to the pier, walking distance to shops and restaurants, and of course steps to the beach. This house, however is in major need of attention. The mattresses are terribly uncomfortable, and the bedding is probably as old as the house. The twin beds are terribly rusted. The furniture is also old and covered in pet hair. The kitchen is poorly outfitted, and there isn't a knife sharp enough to adequately slice an apple. The porches have rusted nails with the heads popping off, making it hazardous for our small children. The dryer drum keeps spinning even if the door is open, which seems to be a major safety hazard. There are old TVs literally being used as stands for new(er) tvs, also terribly unsafe. The doors and floors are peeling from apparent water damage. Intracoastal, you have a great reputation, and allowing homes to remain in your program in this state really hurts that. I don't know whether to be horrified, or to make an offer, and restore this home to the state it deserves. "

"The location is perfect. The entire place needs to be updated. Furniture is not comfortable and the carpet and kitchen all need to be replaced. We love the beach so much that we tried to overlook so much that was broken and in need of being replaced. We will be back but we will be looking for a different place. "

"We had a lovely week at Archer on Wrightsville Beach. The location really could not be better, just steps from the beach and a big pier. Great local food and places to visit. The cottage is very comfortable and well maintained, although not newly furnished or updated. When the electricity went out and AC stopped, the maintenance support came quickly and remained until it was resolved."
"The view and location are perfect. The house is in need of major upgrades.. The Stove on had one eye that worked and the stove didn't work at all. The tv's are on major need of upgrade.. There was no grill to cook out on.. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.. Just had to eat out every morning and night.."
"Great property and perfect for our family. Only concerns were the conditions of the deck and stairs leading up to the back deck. Nail heads on deck boards and stairs are rusty and several nail head came off when stepping on them. Often in bare feet; decks and stairs need maintenance."

"Our stay was interesting. The rental is in a great location; however, a big bush blocks most of the view of the ocean. The view from the master is great! It was clean; however, there are multiple maintenance issues...warped doors, torn vinyl flooring, lights that flicker, a stove element that caught fire (while cooking dinner), a towel rack that fell off the wall, air filter had not been changed in a LONG time, dryer filter needs cleaning (down in the opening),and a strip of veneer that fell off the bar. There was no grill (fine because there was no ground to place one. Grounds need clearing). Reported everything to the rental company. We made the best of it and had a good time. Love the check-in/check-out process! Love the parking availability. "

"I had a wonderful experience working with Intercostal Realty. My contact Lisa was so helpful and went out of her way to make our stay special. The property was as described. It was clean and maintained. It needs some updates but worked well for us as we had young children with us. Besides, the location was perfect and I didn't travel across the country for the was the beach!! I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone who loves the ocean. Make sure you so to Roberts grocery store and get their cheese dip. It is awesome. The Chop House has superior steaks and service. Hope we are able to visit again some day."
"We were not too satisfied with out stay. The property was extremely overpriced for the value received. The property is very run down and needs updating. The carpet was dirty. Many doors had peeling veneer. The furniture, beds and kitchen were dated. The televisions were not too good, the primary remote control did not work well. The outdoor deck furniture was bottom of the line. Etc., etc. The cost for a two night stay was astronomical."

"We enjoyed our stay at Archer. All the beds were comfortable, plenty of seating in the living room. Loved the quiet dishwasher. the outside shower has hot and cold water, not private. The kitchen was a little lacking- only 1 cookie sheet, no casserole dishes for the microwave and only 3 dinner knives for 6 people. The deck furniture wasn't in the best shape- some of the plastic chairs were broken, and the metal ones are pretty rusty. Overall, we had a very nice week and would recommend this rental to others."
