Our vacation rentals are cleaned and sanitized by disinfectants that are EPA registered for use against COVID-19 (the coronavirus). Our linens are commercially cleaned, and dried using an EPA approved commercial sanitizing agent and are left sealed in plastic at the foot of each bed.
Our goal is to ensure that each property is sanitized and safe for your vacation.

This home has a king bed in the master bedroom, along with a full private bath. In the first guest bedroom you have a queen bed, and in the second guest bedroom there are two pyramid bunk beds. In the living room you will find a sleeper sofa. There is a full bathroom that the two guest bedrooms share. The living room, dining area, and kitchen all dace the spacious open deck. This home has plenty of room for the whole family, and will feel like your owner personal beach house!

"Overall another great week in NC. We had difficulty getting in initially due to the code box not working. Ian brought us a master key so we did finally get in before midnight. Two of the TV’s were not hooked up to the cable and the fan in the Queen size bed room does not work. Kitchen had great appliances and dishes. Just needs some TLC"
"High Tide was a great choice for us. It is close to the beach so very easy to come and go. We had a nice view from the deck and upper crows nest and it was reasonably priced. "
"We really enjoyed our stay at High Tide Great View. The location was perfect, making it easy for us to get back and forth to the beach and anywhere else we needed to go. The house was in good shape overall. Just a few things that could be fixed... The refrigerator slammed into the stove every time we opened it though, which was annoying. The bunk bedroom smelled strongly of mildew... The king bedroom mattress was very saggy and uncomfortable. When we stripped the bed upon checkout, we saw disgusting stains on the mattress, and now it's obvious why it sagged so much."

"Our extended family spent a great week here. This house allowed us to have everyone in one location and what a great location it was.
The house allowed 4 couples, 2 singles and 7 kids to spend the perfect beach vacation all together. We never felt crowded and always had everything and then some in this house. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything for cooking. The house came with an excellent amount of linens and the outside showers with hot water came in handy when the kids came up from the beach.
Garage was broken the first day but the superintendent came and gave us access and put in a ticket to have it fixed. The garage gave us plenty of room to park our four vehicles.
The only negatives that we have is that the beds gave everyone backaches, water pressure was very weak (even when only 1 shower was running) and furniture is a little dated.
The location of the property is a walk from some locations but not anything that couldn't be completed within 15-20 mins. If you have smaller kids bring strollers as it might be too far for them. The pier is within walking distance no problem for children. "

"You couldn't ask for a better location. 4 blocks from the pier, yet on a quiet street...2 homes from the beach...just perfect. We walked or rode bikes everywhere. Unit had everything we needed and we appreciated the garage being stocked with boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas! Beds were comfy, kitchen had all the essentials, AC was cold and neighbors were quiet. We even reserved it for next year!"
"We loved High Tide as the location and views were spectacular. It's close enough to get to the beach in a moments notice. The place is a bit in need of a furniture update but still really nice. The only negative we had was the master bed was too soft for a bad back. "
"Highly recommend this place. We had a family of 9 stay here for my daughter graduation. Loved the decor, beds were very comfortable- even the bunk beds. Well stocked kitchen. Every thing you could possibly need. Loved having the upper deck beautiful views right on an access road to the beach. Had an amazing time. "
"Very cute cottage! Neatly decorated, kitchen was well stocked with dishes/pots/pans/utensils, had breakfast on top of the duplex which was really neat, very short walk to the beach, garage could fit two cars and had plenty of space in the driveway. Really enjoyed our stay. My only critique - there were a few dead cockroaches in the cottage. Clearly they treated the place for bugs, but still not nice to see. Would probably stay here again despite this."
"LOVED IT! Nothing fancy, just family friendly. Kitchen well equipped. Claims to sleep 12 but twelve adults could be a nightmare - pretty tight. Great porch/deck plus good weather allows some 'awake' space. Steps looked daunting but seemed designed well and not an issue.
Negatives: wrong access info upon arrival (= no entry); erratic garage door entry pad(no access = no cars, no beach gear); plumbing issues in both bathrooms.
Would we do it again? In a heart beat!"

"The location could not be better. Our kids loved the beach. The home was clean but a bit worn which is expected with any rental that age. I suggest placing a good broom in the home for guests to use during the week to help with the daily need to clean up sand. The one there is old and tattered. The unit had electrical issues in the family room where the TV and WIFI was located. Some of the outlets were not working well causing the TV and WIFI to turn on and off frequently. After discovering it was the outlet, we bought a extension cord to pull power from outlet in dining room. Simple fix, but the electrical should be looked at as it could be a fire hazard. When we departed, there was a maintenance person inspecting this.
Overall, it was a great trip and we look forward to coming back to Wrightsville again very soon! "

"Loved the location!!!!! very comfortable and cozy, fit our family of 7 very nicely! Some of the appliances may be ready for an upgrade though, and maybe a handyman for leaky faucets and the kitchen lights, but none of that made it un-usable at all, just quirky! Really really enjoyed our stay!"
"Overall, we enjoyed our week at High Tide - upper unit. The steps are excessive, however the views were wonderful. The unit was clean and comfortable. A/C worked great. The kitchen needed a few items. The pillows could be upgraded but mattresses were fine. The home was great for entertaining and we lived the widows walk! I would rent it again. "

"arriving Saturday afternoon at the property,we weren't able to unlock the front door because the key was stuck in the lock and couldnt be turned.we called intracoastal for help and the maintance man we were connected to ask us if we had packed some WD 40 to make the key work!
Garage door didnt open after code was entered we could hear the motor working so after calling intracoastal again we were told were the problem because we apparently didnt know how to operate a garage door. By the way: this unit we were told had a side door entrance we had to use but it didnt!
kitchen was sticky and furniture stained (photos) beyond believe.We used linens to cover up everything so we could sit on chairs and sofas.
wednesday night we caught a cockroach (on film) running around in Kitchen!
called intracoastal Thursday morning got jelled at (Jennifer)and hung up on us.
Toaster and Microwave broken.Dishwaschen worked of and on.Mold in Bathroom shower. Finally on Friday maintenance guy arrived to fix the garage door. we left on Saturday."
9/3 So sorry this guest was disappointed. Our maintenance technicians do try to joke around with our guests sometime to light a situation, we by no means expect our guest to bring with them any items such as WD40. We went out and swapped out the guests keys with working keys and looked into getting the garage to work. Our technician had to order a part for the garage which is why it took a few days to repair the motor, but it was still able to work manually. I'm sorry they were disappointed with the unit, I know all other issues have been resolved. CMM
"Location was very nice. The actual rental property is much nicer than it looks in the picture. The garage door did not work as the rental company said. It wasn't a problem, we did it manually, just felt the rental company should have expected more carefully. However, I am very picky. We would definitely stay again and use this rental company again. We would recommend this property and the rental company again! "

"The property has a great location and looks great from the street. The problems started shortly after check in. The dead bolt lock has weathered with the salt air and had a very difficult time getting the key into the lock and the door open. The trouble with the lock continued through the rental.
The garage door keypad worked intermittently over the next 2 days and then completely stopped working on Tuesday. I called and the maintenance guy (don't remember name, but helpful and nice, had pony tail) showed up and said the keypad was bad and needed replacing. He said all the management company ever does is replace the batteries, but upon removal we could see the keypads wires had become unsoldered and were not able to function correctly. He called in and told them to replace. He crawled in back window and we manually opened garage the remainder of rental. No check by office to see if things were ok.
King size bed frame in master bedroom was broken and after experience with garage I did not bother calling. I repaired frame temporarily using hard back books from library.
Had people over for dinner one night and many of us enjoyed our wine in regular glasses since the home only provided 3 glass wine glasses. All of my past rentals always had well stocked kitchens, ready for entertaining.
The rental has a great location, but some updating would be beneficial, especially the bath rooms. I know it would increase the rental cost, but it would be well worth it. I was disappointed with the lack of follow up by Intracoastal, however the maintenance guy was very helpful. "
We try our best to fix these items as they come up, but there are certain issues that our cleaners and inspectors just will not see. We're sorry to hear they had these issues, I will address this with the staff. We will make sure these problems are repaired, and we hope they have a better vacation their next stay with us.

"Overall, the vacation was great. The house is lovely and the location is perfect. The only suggestions I have are about the internet service and the bedding. There was no internet service for the High Tide-Upper so we had no password for security. As far as the bedding, the advertisement was to sleep 12 people, but we were 8 and had minor problems. The top bunk beds were meant for smaller children and when we tried the pull-out bed, the mattress was in poor condition. We would definitely rent the house again, as we were very pleased and had a wonderful time there."

"The management company handled our concerns with this property well. However, I don't understand why they manage this property. The sofa looked like it belonged in a frat house, ceiling fans that sounded like nails on chalkboards, cabinets that smelled so strongly of Raid, you could taste it, light bulbs missing or not working, 1990's tv, no place to plug in music, iPods, etc. It needs an overhaul and certainly not current on market standards in this price range for rental properties."

"Eating utensils dirty, Pots and pans filthy and some unusable (flaking on inside bottom and warped on bottom). LR furniture in disrepair- sofa torn. King matress unusable (springs no good). Bath with cracking tile and falling off, washer and dryer old and inefficient.
My husband and I have stayed at other beach rentals in the past and this property was the worst. This rental does not merit top dollar. "

"Intracoastal folks were mostly great @ check-in + on phone (Ashley) + Tim & Jimmy helped as they were allowed. We had series of maintenance issues: burned-out lights (replaced), leaking coffee maker (replaced), seized ceiling fan in kids room (never replaced), hanging & dangerous ceiling fan on porch (never fixed or replaced), internet & cable TV connections issues (resolved), 2 weak kitchen chairs (we repaired), inoperable garage door opener (never replaced; opened & closed by hand), some worn/ripped/stained living room furniture, master b-room mattresses seemed tired & old. Intracoastal's towel & linen policy is wonderful. Best-equipped kitchen we've had! A number of beach chairs & umbrellas available for use. Decks were magnificent. Apparently owner needs to authorize some repairs = garage opener + ceiling fans + reupholster or replace furniture & mattresses. We would consider renting this propery again."

"The High Tide rental itself is great: clean, cute decor, super close to the beach and walkable to restaurants and bars. I had a terrible experience with Intracoastal Realty though. The guy who I made the reservation with over the phone told me linens were included with my rental for 12 people. Then 2 days before my group was supposed to check in and I had already gotten everyone to pay me back, someone from Intracoastal calls me and tells me that the guy I made my reservation was new and got it wrong: linens are NOT included in my rental. I asked them to honor what the guy told me originally since it was so last minute and I had already gotten everyone to pay me back for the rental without including the rental fees and they refused, so I ended up having to front the $221 myself. The kicker is that I show up to the rental after checking in and there are no linens – no sheets on any of the beds and no towels. I arrived at the rental after Intracoastal's office had closed, so I left a voicemail on their emergency line and another number but no one called me back. Oh and by the way, they have like 15 different phone numbers so it is hard to get a hold of anyone in their office, let alone know what office you're calling. So all 12 of us had to sleep on top of our bedspreads that first night and couldn't take showers. When I finally reached someone in the IR office the following morning, the woman I spoke with apologized once but seemed more annoyed at me for letting my group sleep on top of the bedspreads - even though we had no choice! One of the managers called me later that day trying to figure out which of the many phone lines I‘d left messages on so they could figure out why no one called me back, but the fact that he didn't even know made it all the more frustrating. All in all, it was a good place to stay, but Intracoastal Realty is a terrible rental company and I would go out of my way not to have to deal with them again while in Wrightsville Beach."
So sorry to hear there were difficulties with the linen situation. Linens are not included in partial stays, which is where this confusion came from. I'm sorry we didn't respond the night they checked in, I'm glad we got it fixed promptly the next day. Hope to have them again and show them a better vacation.

"The location was great for the price. Just a short walk to the beach. Overall, it was much better than staying in a hotel. There are three bedrooms, that sleep 8 comfortably and 10 if you double up on a couple of beds. The house was clean, but did have a few maintenance issues that needed resolved. We arrived on Saturday, and issues were not resolved until Monday and Tuesday. No fault of the owners. Intracoastal's response was professional, but did not seem very urgent. After the maintenance issues were resolved, all was good for the rest of the week. I'm not sure we would stay at the same location again. On a scale of 10, overall rating about a 7."
