Recent Reviews About This Property

"dirty too. My husband went home and brought back our wet swiffter and cleaned the floors. The lack of a conventional oven made it difficult to bake in an oblong pan."

Rebecca B. from Wilmington, 06/27/2011

"Great location, place and resort. Would definitely return. Only issue was ants when arrived, but the maint. crew was great with assisting us."

from South riding , 07/25/2011

"They need to find a special toilet bowl cleaner or replace the bowl.I would suggest a tea kettle+general spices in the kitchen. There was salt&pepper."

Melvin K. from Wheeling, 08/03/2011

"We have stayed at Duneridge for years and love the promimity to the beach and the amenities. This particular unit was nice, but it was so dirty when we arrived I had to go purchase cleaning supplies and a steam mop. The laminate wood floors were filthy
as if they hadn't been cleaned in months. The bathrooms, too, were dirty and smelled. Both of the tile showers had black and brown mold growing on the grout. The glass doors for the showers also had not been cleaned. After we spent an entire afternoon cleaning
and disinfecting, we enjoyed our stay. "

from Richmond, 08/15/2011

"We loved our stay overall. With 3 bdrms. you'd think you'd have at least 6 dining chairs. (not incl. barstools) There was only wine glass and it was cloudy. There was not even 1 dishwasher soap (no starter kit?). The wireless was extremely slow. But the beds were very comfortable and the view was spectacular!"

from Huntersville, 05/14/2013

"We rented this condo for 5 months during the witner and could not have been happier with the location and view. It also has a very nice view and furnishings. We created many happy memories while living here that we will always treasure.

I will say that what made it nice was having a quiet, peaceful stay. Come during the winter and enjoy having Duneridge and the beach mostly to yourself! :)"

Michael and Larisa B. from , 05/17/2013

"Lovely condo and a beautiful property overlooking the site of our son's beachfront wedding. We had a wonderful week at Duneridge!"

Faith G. from Midlothian, 06/12/2013

"We had a nice vacation, but the condo was not clean when we arrived and the family room furniture was pretty dirty (it was white fabric). The housekeeping staff was very responsive though. The beach and pool were beautiful and the unit overall was very comfortable. "

Helen L. from Chapel Hill, 06/18/2013

"All great but 1984 tv was a joke in this day and time. Must upgrade and add HD televisions."

from Raleigh, 08/06/2013

"The rental was filthy when we arrived and the dishwasher was broken. There were dishes in the cupboards with food on them. The floor turned my children's bare feet black.
Your management team acted quickly to remedy the situation, even though it was the weekend, and we appreciated that. "

Kelly W. from Apex, 08/20/2013

"Bed spread in master has blood stains. broken dining room chair. very stained and soiled white furniture. foggy windows toward beach. high rent for conditions."

David R. from Sinking Spring, 09/09/2013

"Overall I found the rental very good. Location was great and pool was great. Wifi provided was grossly subpar and there seems to be no interest in improving. Streaming was next to impossible. Also, my unit did not have either a bath or an oven and I don't recall seeing that or noticing that in description. With little children, a bath and operating wifi is mandatory. That negatively affected the experience. I also would like to have been notified more clearly about what I would need to bring (ie extra toilet paper) and it would be great if there was a shopping/stocking service so that people traveling from far away could arrive to a filled refrigerator for a fee."

Richard C. from Sacramento, 09/16/2013

"The DuneRidge complex was such a wonderful place to stay. Secure, clean and gorgeous view of the ocean and sound. Our unit was perfect - very spacious with updated furnishings. Memorable visit!! Would stay there again."

Lori G. from Newport, 04/29/2014

"Lovely condo - enjoyed our stay. Furnishings were great and the décor was nice. The dishwasher did not work properly and we had to wash the dishes by hand. The iron was already taped up and left white residue on a black pair of pants, and the place really needs to come with a hair dryer. "

Donna S. from Chester, 05/16/2014

"Overall a very good family vacation experience. My only issue is that for the price you pay it would be better if basic cleaning (detergent etc) materials were included and toilet paper and paper towels were provided."

Richard C. from Sacramento, 09/15/2014

"Unfortunately the condo was not as nice as the pictures showed on the website. It was very worn and needs updating, especially bedding (pillows, bedspreads etc). The rental being the first month of the summer we were surprised to see the hall and kitchen and bathroom walls so nasty. Obviously they don't repaint walls before summer season. Terro ant killer had been hidden behind something on a kitchen counter and had leaked and we didn't know it was there and I had to throw bags of food away that sat in the ant killer. A note should be left that that stuff is being used. Toilet paper holder was left broken in the hallway. We were told that this was one of the better units!!!?"

Gene L. from Chapel Hill, 07/06/2015

"We have been renting in Wrightsville Beach for 32 years; the last 10 years + or so at various Duneridge units. We rent two units at once so we've stayed in many. This unit is a nice one, recently renovated, however, since it's only a two bath unit, we find the price increase not in line with comparables. The dishwasher needs attention as the soap receptacle is jammed and unusable due to powdered detergent clogging/jamming. The second day I reported a toilet paper holder that had come off the brackets. I reported again and it was never repaired. I was worried we would lose the pieces place by the sink. In general, this is a nice unit but does not warrant the owners' higher than most price hike. If they review the prices and come down a bit, we might consider renting this unit in the future...if we come back to Duneridge. Duneridge HOA needs to stop benefitting from renters dollars in fees and start providing services like repairing the lock on the ladies room pool door. We ourselves own rental properties in several other states and are more than well aware of how most communities value their rental market."

from Leesburg, 07/13/2015

"Wonderful experience...easy check in and check out. Great quick last minute trip to finish out the summer. Love Duneridge and condo was really nice. "

Ashley S. from Winston Salem, 09/09/2015

"great!"

Phyllis O. from Winston Salem, 09/21/2015

"Had a girls week for my big 5-0 and it was amazing!! The grounds at Duneridge are beautiful, very clean, quiet and secure. You cannot ask for a better beach than Wrightsville! The condo was very nice with upgraded baths, kitchen and newer living room furniture.

I do have a couple of complaints with the condo; the dishwasher did not clean dishes well at all. The bigger issue that I became concerned with was the overall cleanliness. The sheets in the master bedroom had a small blood stain; I assumed they had been washed but not bleached. Blood stained sheets should no longer be used. Then I spilled a clear liquid on the kitchen floor, when I went to wipe it up, you could tell that the floor had not been moped in quite sometime (or the mop needs to be replaced). The flooring is light oak so you could not see the dirt but the hand towels were completely black. Having a 10am check out and 4pm check in should be sufficient time to thoroughly clean the condo. When you spend as much as this for a vacation rental, it should be as clean, if not cleaner than the home you live in.

Other than that, very nice place, beautiful beach and I will consider renting 2306 or another Duneridge condo in the future. "

Karen W. from Clemmons, 07/04/2016

"It was great. Property with pool and easy beach access. It's our 3rd time in this unit and we really love it.
Two issues: They have an ant problem. We were really good about not leaving food out on the counter but they swarmed. Need to address that.
The other inconvenience was that the dishwasher is really not functional. The dishes were no where near clean at the end of the cycle. They need to upgrade/replace.
Lastly, no broom provided. I would have happily swept the sandy floors but there was no broom in the unit. "

Nicole P. from Bethesda, 08/09/2016

"The accommodations were excellent. Very nice condo and excellent views. Rental company personnel extremely helpful."

George M. from , 04/03/2017

"this was a great location for our family gathering for Easter vacation week. We had three generations with ages from three to 65. Well appointed unit, great views and proximity to the page. Only disappointment was that the pool was closed for repair."

from Nantucket, 05/08/2017

"We had a wonderful time...The condo was very nice but the furniture in the main room wasn't very comfortable...We kept saying this furniture was made for giants...Elizabeth Farrar"

Elizabeth F. from Richmond, 05/29/2017

"Quiet place (however, we were there at a quiet time of year), well laid out (we couldn't hear snoring from the other rooms), clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils. The washer/dryer came in very handy. The beds were comfortable enough (there's no place like home). The pool was awesome - large, clean and plenty of chairs (again, though, we were there at a quiet time of year). The only drawback was no bathtub which made it a little difficult bathing the children. Overall, though, it was a nice unit."

Becky S. from Lynchburg, 06/12/2017

"It was hot - glad we were at the beach"

Joseph C. from Akron, 08/22/2017

"It was a beautiful property. Nothing is conveniently around you and if you want anyone to visit you parking is a nightmare. Wifi is tricky but works if you get a hotspot through the management office.
Only downside is check in and check out time. it breaks up the days.

"We’ve rented from Duneridge on several occasions and had really nice condos and some that weren’t. This one falls somewhere in the middle. It’s been updated but has a few issues to resolve.
The unit needs: new blinds, a new coffee maker, and cooking essentials, new king mattress, and new patio furniture."

Kevin S. from Greensboro, 08/06/2018

"We have been coming to Duneridge for years, but unfortunately, this will likely be our last year. The location, beach access, views and pool are tough to beat. However, we had quite a few maintenance issues. The A/C was broken, for what seemed quite awhile, and required two visits from HVAC and the dishwasher was broken requiring a technician. We know that things break- no big deal, but we were VERY disappointed in how the management company (Intracoastal) spoke and helped us handled these issues. They were very rude and condescending. In general, 2306 was a great unit for our family, but Intracoastal was not very friendly and did not make customer service a priority. "

Mattie D. from Annapolis, 08/22/2018

"For what we paid, it was really just an average place. The place was a little dirty and worn out, and the bathroom was a bit moldy."

Mike C. from Scottsdale, 08/29/2018

"Unit was nice - guessing new floors had recently been installed. Only negative is that the kitchen needs to be better equipped, storage cabinets were a mess, some of the glasses and plates not clean."

from GREENSBORO, 08/05/2019

"My wife and I have stayed in several different condos at Dunedridge over the last 20 years. Unit 2306 ranks as the best we’ve stayed in. The bathrooms have been updated compared to the other ones we’ve stayed in. The king size bed was firm and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. All this, plus good weather and food, made for a great late September get away."

from Asheville, 10/04/2019

"Condo was amazing. Beautiful inside, And the grounds were great. Pool was awesome. Beach was one of a kind, and to a point we will probably come back every year to Wrightsville beach.. Condo was well appointed, the baths were great, and clean. The view and sounds of the ocean Made it even better. Close to everything needed. Everything was fantastic, except.

The reason this received a 4star instead of five was the beds, and outdoor furniture. The beds for $400 a night before fees left a lot to be desired. These are 1 million dollar condos (Current listings)and the beds could have been out of a $100 hotel. Maybe we are just spoiled, due to our beds. Also, not a big deal, but the balcony furniture was not very nice, cushions had filling spewing out, they seemed old and dated. The sank very far when sat in even by my 50lb 6 year old. We got used to it, but at this price you definitely want some good outdoor furniture and nicer beds.

Wrightsville beach was amazing, Duneridge was amazing, this unit had a great view. If they updated those two things this would be 6 stars out of five! We will definitely recommend This unit And even come back to it. Intracoastal was amazing to work with and will use them every time we stay here. They found us a place when reservations were off (Saturday), due to another company bait and switching us. Looking forward to getting back to Wrightsville was a true gem in the crowded field of beach towns. We loved it!"

from Dayton, 06/13/2020

"The Duneridge location is great. The unit we stayed in is adequate, better for a summer stay than a winter stay (you spend more time inside during the winter). Furniture is dated and not very comfortable, beds were just okay. Kitchen was not well lighted. Bathrooms had drain issues that rental company was able to address, showers were great. All in all a good stay, but it is time for this condo to be updated."

from Asheville, 01/22/2021

"Location wonderful, property was clean. It was as advertised. Reservation process was easy, smooth and answered all questions immediately. Gave us pertinent info. Check in was and check was smooth and organized. Lighting was poor. Never could get thermostat to work properly. Outdated furniture and was not comfortable. Minor maintenance issues that owner should be aware of - master bathroom hand towel railing, hole in 2nd bathroom door, kitchen faucet part kept falling off. We assumed all parking would be covered, our was not."

from Raleigh, 05/25/2021

"Overall it was a great place. But here is how our stay started. We initially had difficulty opening the front door and maintenance had to be called later. Upon entering we found a vase of dead flowers with skanky water surrounded by dried petals on the counter. We found a pile of clipped fingernails on the deck. The floor and rug were dirty and we had to clean the floor and rug. Also, there was a ball of hair in the main bathroom shower. Once we took care of these issues we were quite happy with the place."
