Recent Reviews About This Property

"This was our fourth trip to Station One for a short family vacation. My wife and I brought along our 6 & 3 yr old for the trip. We love the location of station one. We were able to park our car and walk to everything we needed while on the island. The first floor was very nice with young kids because it was a short walk down the stairs to get to the pool/beach. We did not have to depend on the elevators. The unit was a bit dated and in need of some maintenance. A/C unit not working upon check in, wallpaper peeling in numerous locations, electrical wire for ceiling fans pulling away from walls, kitchen appliances very old...nothing major just not what we expected for the price. We will definitely visit again but for the price we will choose a different unit. "

"We liked Station one a lot and the location was great. The price was competitive, but I would NOT increase the price for the near future as the units are comfy but not updated. Also, parking needs to be a bit more flexable as we had family coming and going and there are times you need more then 2 cars because people travel back and forth to Raleigh for work etc... Just be a little more flexible if friends visit etc... "

"2D was very enjoyable to stay in - very well appointed with comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen was very useable for casual meals. Access to the beach and pool was convenient. Only down side was access from the beach thru the pool gate was difficult. This system of a key needs to be fixed. Walking around the building is very bad."

Marguerite P. from Mason, 07/23/2014

"This particular property was more dated than what we usually stay in. Shower doors barely worked. TV in guest room was iffy to not working. Carpet needed fixing. That being said we will look for others in Station One."

Ray W. from Williamsburg, 08/18/2014

"We enjoyed our stay at Station One. We loved the beach and the close proximity to places to eat, etc. in Wrightsville. The condo was nice and well stocked and maintained. The decor (wall paper, etc.) could use some updating."

from Maretta, 08/27/2014

"Condo was roomy and comfortable for our family of four. The kitchen was a little dated but had everything we needed to prepare meals. We also enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants but still have the privacy of pool area and condo grounds. Very pleased with everything!"

"great location ,with a charming feel"

Ira R. from Cary, 06/10/2015

"Our Unit was not very clean- cheerios on the floor in kitchen, drink bottles in drawers, and windows not clean. The keys were difficult to use in the property doors. You hoped someone would come through and open the door for you. Great location. We have been coming for many years and this is the first time is was not above satisfactory."

"The condo was a nice place but very dated. "

Brad M. from Winston Salem, 09/23/2015

"We loved the pool at Station One, the beach, and the friendliness of the security staff. The unit, however, was run down and in bad condition-- ripped wallpaper, holes in drywall, worn out toilet seats, and the kitchen layout and utensils were outdated and in bad condition. The cushions on the dr chairs were ripped and soiled. I would not recommend this unit!"

from Carmel, 11/01/2015

"1D was a decent unit, though it was outdated. The big disappointment was having no access to the deck from the master bedroom. They had it screwed shut, so no sounds of the ocean, even though pictures made it look like you would have that. Window coverings in master didn't work to go up & down, you had to have 2 ppl roll them up & down--so we ended up leaving them down most of the time. :( But Station One in general is always a good stay. "

Angela P. from Apex, 05/17/2016

"Had a terrific week. The unit was great; and for a 1st floor unit, the views were wonderful. I'd definitely book it again!"

Shelley T. from Clifton, 08/01/2016

"We were in Wilmington for the NC half iron man. Stayed on the ocean in Wrightsville beach. Location was excellent. Close to swim start so family could walk down to see it. Stayed a couple extra days to enjoy the great location."

Peter B. from Pineville, 10/30/2016

"I felt that the accommodations were very nice. we felt secure and the site was laid out nicely. The unit itself needs a little TLC but was just the right amount of room for our family. all in all it was a nice experience. "

"Second year renting this unit and it was just as nice the second time around. "

"Check in could be streamlined if Intercoastal hired valets who could earn big as last thing you want to deal with is mass arrival in small drop off point after many hours on road getting there. The almighty kept things humble with rain but boys had blast daily on beach, we found megaladon tooth, wow! The unit is for sale and original wallpaper has seen a lot, great for a week at the price."

from Fletcher, 08/10/2018

"The room was freshly renovated and modern. We like the condo location and the high entertainment value by having everything we need in one location. (beach, pool, etc) Looking forward to next year."

"Unit is beautiful. Everything seems to be brand new. Steps to pool and beach. We had a really great time. Only a few suggestions.
To the unit owners, a teapot would be great for those of us who dont drink coffee. Otherwise the kitchen was fully stocked and we really appreciated the dishwashing tablets and garbage bags. Also the towel service is awesome.
To the building. The keys are really a pain to maneuver. A keyboard system would be much more practical and convenient. Also though the unit had no roaches there were some visible in the hallway areas and staircase so you really should attack this problem. The recycling area was not with the garbage chute so had no idea where to throw that. I suggest it be all in one place, perhaps a second chute.
Would definitely recommend this place for anyone with kids. "

"We just completed a week long stay at Station One (Unit 1D). This was the second time in 3 years that we’ve stayed there. This was a great unit, lots of upgrades, very well maintained. We’ve really enjoyed our time there. One complaint: all the buildings locks are keyed to the room key - yes, old fashioned keys. Unfortunately, all the locks are worn out and it’s an effort to get every door open. It might sound minor but it was a major aggravation."

James Y. from Cornelius, 07/22/2019

"thank you for sharing your lovely condo. nicely updated and very clean
great location with restaurants/shops within walking distance and spectacular views."

Lynnette S. from Cranberry Township, 08/24/2019

from Dallas, 08/26/2019

"This condo was perfect for our family. We enjoyed our stay here very much. Everything was very clean and looked just like the pictures. Plenty of dishes/kitchen items for eating meals in. The pool was great too!
My only complaint would be that the ceiling fan in the master was noisy (too noisy for us to utilize) but other than that it was a great place and great location."

Lauren R. from Stanley, 09/26/2019
