This three bedroom condo is everything you need! The master bedroom is ocean front with a seating area, king bed, and full private bathroom. The two guest bedrooms share a full hall bathroom. The first guest bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed, the second guest bedroom has two twin beds. In the living room there is plenty of seating, and a sleeper sofa for your extra family. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need during the week, and the dining room table has plenty of room for family dinner!
This 5th floor ocean front balcony has amazing views of the ocean and Wrightsville Beach. There is a pool and tennis court on site, and you are within walking distance to the local restaurants and shops!

"This was a booking that was made 5 days before my vacation because the original place, Allentown at Station One, I booked months before through Bryant Real Estate canceled on me a week before I was supposed to leave for vacation. Talk about stressful. I found Mountjoy online and called and they had it booked and taken care of the same day, in fact within hours, they responded so quickly. I think that this place was actually nicer than the one I thought I wanted. I couldn't be happier the way it worked out. The only reason they didn't get all 5 stars was because of the problem we had with the getting a hold of them for the late check in and getting our keys, but a huge thank you to Maryellen to answering my frantic emails. You really helped knowing I had contact with someone. Thank you Tim for your really quick response. They had me back on worry free vacation time soon enough. I would recommend this rental to anyone. "Hi - we rented Station One 5B Mount Joy as this was the only condo available during our week. We used to rent this condo 32 years ago when my parents started to come to Station One, so I know the condo well. We rent from Station One almost every summer so we know the other condos. Disappointing as hardly anything updated since 1985. Couch and chairs in living room were recovered, but the couch has a huge tear in it. The bedroom furniture is ratan & quality is horrible. Master bedroom has end tables that are square with round glass that cover the top. This is dangerous as the glass sticks out and I hit my head on it. Electrical socket in master does not work. Bulbs needed to be changed once we checked in the condo; and master bed tv was not working. (Note for Intracoastal management: lights and electronics should be checked & bulbs replaced once housekeeping is cleaning the condo) Kitchen: Plates are not microwavable; plates are chipped; glasses are a mix of everything. I feel like I'm in a off campus college house (I own college rentals that offer better dishware). Electric can opener does not work (replace with a manual). No dust pan. Please provide adequate cooking and cleaning tools! Air condition did not work properly.
It is Intracoastal's responsibility to provide a list to your condo owners on how the condos should be appointed. When Station One was managed internally, owners (including my parents) were provided a "detailed" list of what the condo should supply. Mount Joy had about 10% of what that list provided. Management at Intracoastal needs to benchmark other management companies as they clearly do not understand what a "household" needs to provide. What does your onsite rep do? They should be checking condos upon check out/in. It's obvious those reps don't do that. I had to ask the onsite rep for the free gift.
The questions below are ambiguous as my stay was great because of the beach, but the condo POOR!"

"On arrival to the Mountjoy condo, we were extremely disappointed. We found the furniture in the condo ripped and filthy. I went so far as to take the sheets off of the twin beds and place them over the furniture so we could sit. The sliding glass door windows were so fogged and dirty that we tried to clean them ourselves. At one touch the screen door fell off of the track. The outdoor furniture was filthy as well. Needless to say, I tried many times and ways to get the main office, which was impossible because we got into town after the office closed. We stayed in that condo for the weekend. Monday morning I received a call from the Intracoastal Office and they were extremely helpful in getting us moved to a more comfortable place. We were very happy with the second condo (Breslin). It is well maintained, up graded, and very well appointed. We will return in years to come in the Breslin Condo."

"We loved the location and the views from our condo rental. It was not shown in the photo, but it was really nice that some plastic netting was put along the patio rail so that my 2 year could not squeeze through the bars! This allowed us to keep the patio door open when it was nice weather and she could come and go as she pleased. The bathrooms are showing some age and the furniture is starting to look a little worn with so many guests but everything seemed clean enough. The kitchen had a lot of supplies and a multitude mismatched variety of silverware and kitchen utensils. We were able to get everything cooked and served as we needed, but it seemed a little strange like other guests had brought kitchen things and then just decided to leave them at the condo. Overall a very nice stay and a fantastic location on the beach for the price."

"The view was fabulous. The condo was clean and ready for us upon arrival. The bedrooms, storage space and primary bathroom are spacious. Plenty of cooking equipment. Cons - using a key to get into every door was difficult as they are rusty and hard to open, especially with your hands full of children, beach supplies, groceries, etc. We found this to be a major issue for us. It would have been nice/helpful to have had games, puzzles, or other fun activities in the condo. The master bathroom is small."
"We have been renting with Station One for the past seven yrs. Five of those yrs. we stayed in 5B and have enjoyed every minute of our stay. Only 1 problem their refrigerator. It starts to leak on Monday and we call maintenance and they check it and lower the temperature. By Thurs. evening it starts up again and water runs down the back wall and into the veg. bind and onto the floor. I really think it's time to think about a new refrigerator!!!!Other than that everything has been great!!! Our daughter got married this week at the beach and it was FANTASTIC!!!We were sorry to see Kathy Hill leave Station One's office as she was a great lady to work with! "Been staying here for 10+ years. The place is continuously declining in cleanliness and appearance. Staff appears to have completely changed and pretty much non existant. Pool area not maintained as usual. Outdoor furniture is in disarray and worn. Excellent location and oceanfront veiw."
7/4 We have had a staff change in the last year, but we are still on site Friday and Saturdays for check in and check out. Our office just on Causeway Drive is open for our guests convenience 7 days a week, and their contact information is included on the packet, in the packet, and in the unit. We will discuss the pool area and pool furniture with the HOA, since we don't oversee those areas we will work with them to fix those items. I will also discuss with the owner her unit and doing some updates. I know they did work this off season, and always strive to make their unit as nice as possible for guests. Wish we had gotten some more specific unit complaints to work off of, but we will check in with the guest to see!
"This is our fourth trip to Station One, and each time has been fantastic. The property is well-maintained and in the perfect location. Our family of six was very comfortable in the 3-bedroom units and thrilled to be steps away from the beach and from a wide variety of restaurants, shops and Roberts Market. We hardly ever used the car, as most everything was in walking distance. Just perfect every time!"

"The condo was very dirty when we arrived. There was an abundance of sand on the floors throughout the unit, long hairs on the floor in bedroom and bathrooms. The kitchen dishes/pots and pans were old and needs updating. There was no broom in the unit and a vacuum that just throws the dirt back onto the floor. The tv remote did not work properly. Overall, the unit needs some TLC!"

"I have been going to station one for over 20 years. We park the car and never get back in (except for groceries) until it is time to leave. You can walk to restaurants, a famous hot dog stand and two ice cream parlors in minutes. We go to the ocean and then take a dip in the pool before going back to our unit. A great way to cool off. The units are clean and well appointed. In my mind it is the best buy on the beach. "
"We were very disappointed with our stay for the first time in about 10 years. Our problem was mostly with Intracoastal Realty. They were unresponsive to our needs and issues until I threatened to contact the credit card company to seek some reimbursement. Arrived on Sunday and was told I would have to wait until Tuesday before I could receive assistance because that was when the on site reservationist would return to work. The entire facility was the most unkept I've seen since I have been staying there. Not a great experience for the price but an excellent location."

"The condo was clean for the most part, however ALL of the dishes and cook ware needs to be replaced. That includes the blender, silverware...all of it! The furniture is the typical beach furniture. The bed was horrible but the management company replaced it quickly and were easy to work with. The hot water heater is way too small for the number of people they advertise can stay in that unit. It wouldn't take much to bring that condo up to higher standards, it just needs attention. We would not recommend this unit in this condition but would with it cleaned up. We would recommend using the management comany to find a rental again, they were great! "
