"We had several issues with the unit 8I. We have been staying in this unit the past several years, but things have really gone downhill. Following outlines some of our issues (1)there were 2 roaches in the unit; (2) A/C broke; (3) several lights out in the kitchen; (4) furniture, curtains and rugs were dingy. It is not likely we will stay in this unit going forward. I would recommend the property just not this unit. "

"For 3 nights we lived with a hurricane threat. Then we evacuated. Afterwards when your office opened a delightful lady called and informed me I would receive a full refund. Wow what good service. I got maybe half of my money back. I have called a few times and not called back. I can live with the money loss but the dismal of me as a customer is very distasteful. I am property hunting in the Wilmington area. I am going to be coming back still looking for property. Looks like I’ll got through another realtor."
Dear Judy: We appreciate your vacationing with us during the period of September 7-21, and we are very sorry about the unfortunate weather circumstances that resulted in a mandatory evacuation of the island just 5 days into your stay. Intracoastal Vacation Rentals refunded all tenants for their unused days, regardless if they had travel insurance. We refunded 11 days of your stay; however, we were not able to refund the linen costs since they had already been used for 5 days of your stay. Our guests do not pay housekeeping or management fees, so those were not charged. We hope you decide to return to Wilmington again soon, and during a time when we are not experiencing an historic weather event. "The property was nice, really the selling point was the view and accessibility to the beach was amazing. Loved waking up to the view of the ocean. Couple of negative points - the shower rod in the master was one with a suction and fell down. The comforters in the smaller bedroom were stained. The front door was very hard to open and close. I would have preferred a washer dryer in the home but not sure if the condo rooms allow. Other than that we had an amazing trip."
"We come almost every summer. Wrightsville Beach is a great combination of a resort town but also very homey. There is enough to do for those who are looking for more than relaxation. Station One has been our favorite location since we stayed here for the first time a few years ago. "
"The location of the facility was great. There were restaurants and shopping close by and the beach access was wonderful. The pool was very nice as well. The unit that we were in did need some maintenance. The air filter was completely clogged with dirt and dust. This limited the AC in the front bedroom. We did change it and it improved. The towel bars were falling off the wall and the shower curtain was ripped and falling down. The trundle bed was left with a urine stained mattress pad and there were no mattress covers on the beds. The twin bed had trash, markers, shells and dirt underneath. The property needs a bit of cleaning up, but the location was outstanding. "

"Overall it was very good - however, there is some feedback about the unit that should be considered: (1) Patio furniture should be repaired/replaced. The table is cracked and there were only 3 plastic chairs; one was broken so we couldn't use; (2) dishwasher was not usable as the first time we tried it did not drain the water properly so we had to hand wash the dishes; (3) front door is extremely difficult to open/close and the door handle looks like it is about to fall off; (4) there is a small hole on the right side of the back wall - not sure what this is all about but should be fixed. Everthing else was wonderful. "

It was clean, lots of towels provided, adequate kitchen accessories for many meals at home, and a perfect view of the gorgeous ocean. We enjoyed it so very much, we may do it again next year. "I rented Unit 8I for a month and loved the gorgeous view of the ocean! The place was clean and the property is in a great location. Unfortunately, there was unplanned construction going on the entire month which made it very noisy during the day. IntraCoastal staff was very apologetic and gave updates about the construction on a regular basis. They did give me a nice discount because of the inconvenience."
"Great location!! Can't get any closer to the beach. The onsite management was friendly and helpful.
Only compliant about the specific rental unit was that there is no where to sit comfortably with wet suits on. We had rain a couple of days that forced us off the beach and had to wait out the rain in the condo. The patio isn't covered so we sat on the floor.
Other than that one small issue the condo is updated, clean, close to restaurants, and right on a life-guarded beach! The condo was really quiet and felt very safe since all doors to the complex are locked and require a key to enter.
Would definitely rent again!"

"This was our 15th year. I was disappointed with this unit. Initially there were issues with the way it was cleaned, but those were resolved. However, we reported 3 other problems we discovered during our stay (air conditioning filter in need of changing, poor drainage of tub in master bath, loose toilet in master bath) but none were resolved. We replaced the shredded shower curtain in the 2nd bath with one we were provided, but by the end of the week, it was already shredding. Though the unit has had some upgrades, there are details that need to be addressed."

"This was our first visit to WB. The unit had modern appliances, a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, good wifi, great tile work thru-out, fabulous view, and central location. Secure and well-managed facility. Some of the outdoor balcony chairs needed to be replaced, but there were enough good ones for our party of three. Loved the large no-roof ocean front balcony on top floor. Sunset views from the front windows were nice too Pictures in listing were accurate. A great rental experience."
"We have rented this same condo the last two summers for our family vacation with two small kids, and we love it! Will definitely book it again for next summer. The condo is clean, updated and has everything we need. The location of Station One can't be topped at Wrightsville Beach! It's beachfront, has a pool and is right across the street from great restaurants and activities. We recommend this building (and especially this condo unit) to everyone!"
"The weather was perfect. Station One is a great location. The pool was a bit dirty on a few of the days. Our condo was on the 8th (top floor) which is tough because there is no cover on the balcony which allows for a lot of seagull droppings. The patio furniture was very worn, dated and weathered and frankly not useable. The decor in the condo was great. Kitchen was refurbished not too long ago. The handle on the microwave was broken in half and the range/stove top was old school but it worked. The bedrooms were well appointed. Ceiling fans would have been a nice addition. Clocks in the bedroom would also be great to include. The bathrooms have been updated with nice tile and countertops but the shower heads fall way short. Both showers could use even just a $15 shower head from Lowe's to make showering better than standing under a light hose drizzle. The tile floor throughout the condo is great for summer however, the tile was pretty dirty upon arrival. We used several wet swiffer pads until we felt comfortable with the level of cleanliness. "

"The elevators went out while I was there. I had to walk down 8 flights of stairs twice. For 3 weeks only one elevator worked. Sometimes the call light and floor indicator lights didn't work. I was very uncomfortable living in an 8th floor unit with questionable elevator service."
Thank you for your input. We are sorry you had trouble with the elevator, but that issue falls under Station One maintenance and not Intracoastal. We hope you will consider renting through Intracoastal again soon.

"Everything about Station 1 was impressive; location, accommodations, security, privacy and staff. Kathy was professional, efficient, friendly and most helpful - none better. The weather was not quite as nice in April as we would have liked but pretty sure she has no control over that.
