Our vacation rentals are cleaned and sanitized by disinfectants that are EPA registered for use against COVID-19 (the coronavirus). Our linens are commercially cleaned, and dried using an EPA approved commercial sanitizing agent and are left sealed in plastic at the foot of each bed.

The ocean front bedroom has a king bed, large ocean front bedroom, and the washer dryer closet. The two guest bedrooms are on the marsh side. One has a queen bed, and one has two twins. "Positives: Great location, beautiful view, good layout. Negatives: Extremely outdated (looks like original carpet, stained, worn); No updated appliances; Paper towel holder from a dollar store, fell every time you took off a sheet; Old, cheap hairdryers; cheap bar soap—who uses that anymore?; No basics in unit, such as dishwasher cubes, detergent, shampoo, conditioner. We paid 1700.00 for 4 nights and I think basics should be supplied.Trashbags, paper towels—no extra. Upholstered valances, headboards need dusting terribly. Mattress pads old, stained. Quilts, duvets need washing. HUGE roach (one alive, one dead). Could not open MBR windows to hear surf. Lamp in 1st bedroom had a short and gave us a headache.One feature, the whirlpool tub, looked unused for years so we were scared to use it. For people who mind aesthetics, it would be good to describe this place as great location, but basic accommodations, at a high price."

"Once this was a very nice unit and has a great location, but time has worn and outdated it a bit. The personal was kind and helpful but the roaches while appropriate for the area where too numerous to inspire confidence in their cleanliness.. We had to call to figure out how to get shower to work and send a photo to a plumber to find out. Extra pillows were available but no pillowcases and a extra blankets were shabby at best. I wish it would have went well. We arrived to one bed not made and towels we needed to unpack and place ourselves and the clean up was almost maid worthy. This is not a cheap rental and the space is good but for the money we will go elsewhere. The other note I'd add is that Wrightsville backs up getting on and off the island with rather crazy traffic signs and patterns. So if you want to work a lot, wait a lot and enjoy well worn furnishing a lot , this is almost perfect."

"Wrightsville Beach was absolutely awesome! The condo had everything you could need, including beach chairs and bicycles. The property is older and needs some remodeling, but the access to the pool and beach and the size of the condo were exceptional."
"The apartment is spaceous and well equipped, but the furnitures and the carpets needs to be replaced/updated. You pay for the space, location and the beautiful view. It was also nice to have access to the pool. It would have been even nicer if the apartment came with at least two beach chairs and an umbrella."

"The property at Wrightsville Dunes is in a wonderful location on the beach (out of the crowds) and the exterior of the buildings is pleasant. The bathrooms are in need of renovation including tile and tub/tub surround replacement. The carpeting is stained and in need of replacement. An unpleasant odor greeted us that is, perhaps, the result of the unit being closed up without a/c. However, even with running the a/c for the 2 days we were there, the odor did not subside. We could have also done without the palmetto bugs."

Each unit is stocked with a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, soap in each sink, and a trash bag in each trashcan. Additional of these items must be provided by the guest. "This rental was in a great location but the building was in poor condition. The Microwave oven was plugged into a poor functioning outlet without GFI. The levelor blinds covering the sliding doors out to the deck did not function properly. The dryer did not dry clothes without several re-starts. The master bath is in need of serious updates. The mattress pads on all the beds had stains on them. We had to kill several large bugs that were crawling around on the kitchen counter tops. When we called about the microwave on the first day, we were instructed to troubleshoot the problem over the phone. This is not my ideal handling of this situation in a rental home. Also, with all of the rain during our stay there was rain that leaked onto our deck area and puddled up. "
9/3 This building is being redone in 2014, so these building concerns will be addressed. Will discuss the other items with maintenance for resolution. Look forward to having them again. CMM
"The condo was very comfortable but I felt the complex was tired looking includilng the terrace. Laundy was left in the unit from the previous guest. The most disturbing aspect of our stay was the parking situation. A local family member came to drop off my grandaughter and she was given a ticket. It was a rainy day and she was in a visitor space for 5 min. There were people who were not guest that walked throught the pool to the beach. There were no locks on the pool gates so anyone could walk on the property to access the beach. We had lots of family staying at Dunesville and they were so much more civilized about giving a quest pass. It was a major inconvenience to be there with so much family and having no accommodation for even temporary parking. "

"The condo was perfect in every way except......the palmetto bugs! They were large and spotted several times in the kitchen and bathrooms. I would recommend this property for visitors who are not afraid of large insects."

"We love vacationing at Wrightsville Beach each summer. The area is wonderful. This was our second time renting through Intracoastal Realty. Their staff is friendly and helpful. The condo we rented this year had nice furnishings and a great location. We had lots of room. The first night there we had large roaches inside our unit as well as a wasp nest on our balcony. Our floor in the kitchen was sticky also. After I cleaned the floor and kitchen counters that appeared to have roach droppings I made a call to the rental group. They sent someone over to spray the unit the second day and we did not see any additional bugs during our stay. I would also recommend beach shoes to get from their beach access onto the beach. There is a long distance you walk over very soft sand. My niece got blisters on her feet running through it on one occasion she came up without her flip flops. The deep soft sand also made it difficult to pull our beach cart to and from the beach as well. There were also fire ants on the walk to the beach as well as an occasional yellow jacket at the pool area. My 5 year old son was stung once while he was swimming in the pool. We were more mindful of the flying insects once that happened. The location and views were wonderful. However, the pools were never too crowded and we always had plenty of room out on the beach too. We will come back. Other than the hot sand and bugs it was a nice vacation."
"Returned for a 2nd stay this year, first was in May. Wondering why some upper balconies still have rough wooden scaffolding supporting them ... the first time we thought work was in progress, but 3 months later? Kitchen and master bath in our unit (especially bath) were very outdated & worn .... bathtub water jets are gross! Balcony is very worn looking. All should be tip-top for this price range. It's a shame to see such a nicely located property looking like its going downhill!"

"My family has vacationed in Wrightsville Beach for many years and have rented from Intracoastal Realty many times. I arrived on Friday to a courteous staff member, but when I opened the condo unit, I was hit with a obnoxious odor. I went directly to the bath of master bedroom after my 4 hour drive to find hair and water spots on the counter and trash in the can. I then went to the kitchen to find the trash had not been taken out. After looking around I realized the table, counters had crumbs and unit needed vacuuming. I opened up the doors to air out the unit and called your staff; they did send a cleaning crew quickly that I did appreciate, but overall the unit had carpet in need of cleaning, a torn shower curtain that had mildew and the shower was stained dramaticly ( a good soaking of warm vinegar and baking soda would help to remove the hard water stains). I scrubbed the bathrooms again after your staff left and did remove more grime. After getting groceries later Friday night I came in to find roaches on the counters and trash closet. I had rented this same unit last Labor Day weekend and found it comfortable. I will never rent this unit again."
10/3 So sorry that the unit was not cleaned/inspected before the guest arrived, this shouldn't happen. I'm glad we could send out the cleaners right away and get it taken care of for her. We cannot control the bugs, but we would have been happy to send someout out if she had liked. Hopefully we will have her back next year and she will have a better experience. CMM
"Perfect place for a beach vaca with toddlers.
Overall the unit was very comfortably furnished although the following needs attn: clothes dryer sounds like fan belt is about to go out. Also not very efficient.
Place was very clean except for large stains on carpet back by 2nd bathroom.
Surprised there were no hairdryers in unit.
Happy with rental service (beach umbrella, chairs, etc), however having to rent bed & bath linens for the unit seems a little over the top for the price of the unit.
Exterior of building needs maintenance although it looked like painting was maybe in progress on neighboring buildings. Outdoor deck floor, ceiling, etc. not in good shape."
6/11 Outdoor area of the units is being addressed by Wrightsville Dunes HOA. Will keep an eye on the dryer and send maintenance out. Will also discuss getting a carpet cleaning with the owner after the season. CMM
"I realize that being right on the beach deteriorates property faster than inland, however the window sills inside can be dusted off. Also in the laundry room was dust bunnies very visible. For the cost of the rental I would have expected it to be spotless. Maybe someone just needs to go behind the cleaners to be sure they are doing a thorough job. I have housecleaners and after a time they tend to slack off and not clean as thorough as when they first start. The view was wonderful and we know that is what you are paying for.

"The upholstery and carpet were NASTY, there was dog hair in the unit, and on porch. At a minimum carpet and upholstery need to be cleaned if not replaced. Bathrooms need to be renovated and updated-appear dirty, certainly would not have used the jacuzzi! I could not believe there was no internet, a MUST for this day and time. Kitchen needs update as well, fridge with ice and H20. Providing linen would also be advised at the price being charges. We reported dryer making noise first day and nothing was ever done!"
So sorry that this guest had some concerns with the unit! The owner is doing a complete overhaul of the unit this off season, so these concerns will be addressed. Hope to have them again!
"I should be thankful you found me a place for just two nights. It is a wonderful location. I am sure you are aware of the poor condition of the unit we stayed in. We arrived on Sunday afternoon to find the office closed and no key. After multiple phone calls in a hot parking lot and an hour after arriving a very nice gentleman in a volkswagen van brought us the keys. I would definitely stay at WD or Duneridge but not in WD 2B-F."
So sorry for the issues they had! This unit is being completely remodeled this off season, it will be fantastic!
