Hat Trick

Hat Trick was a great place. Best rental we have had at BHI! 2 suggestions - front door lock and door handle not in the best shape. Also the 6 seater Blue golf cart does not charge very well. It is either the cart or the charger and needs to be looked at.

So many good things to say. Great location, very close to Marina and only a few minute's drive to the shops. Beach access is directly across the street but there are also other access points nearby. East beach takes several minutes on the golf cart but it's not bad. The views from the house can't really be beat. Every window upstairs has a "water" view. Whether it's the back yard waterway or the front yard ocean. Even the Master bedroom downstairs has a view. The kitchen is very well stocked. Probably the best of any rental I've been in. Including a blender, air fryer, plenty of pots/pans and serving ware. The house was pretty clean. I found a few things on the floors and couch but nothing to complain about at the time. Beds were very comfortable. Golf carts worked well and held a charge. There were plenty of beach chairs and bikes in the garage. Even a couple of umbrellas. I would highly recommend this place.

Two families rented Hat Trick July 24-July 30, 2021. There were ten people total (4 adults and 6 kids) and we found the house to be exceptional as well as the rental agency. Upon exiting the ferry BHI Limited was there to give us our keys and we felt that was really great service. Hat Trick was clean and well stocked. The view was beautiful and we took some great photos on the beach in front of the house.

Great rental experience overall. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. Everything was very clean and working conditions when we arrived. The arrival and departure schedule is later than we liked but we managed. The bugs at dawn and dusk are pretty bad but that's understandable around water. We were very happy.

We truly enjoyed or stay at Hat Trick. The sunsets in the evening were amazing from the kitchen, living room, and porch. I would definitely rent this home again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hat Trick. Everything was well-appointed and comfortable and we were happy to be in sight of the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Only advice would be to buy ice to cool down the fridge, which is emptied and cleaned and takes a LONG time to cool again if you fill it with food.

We had a very nice week - the house and island were lovely. But the ferry journey to and from was very trying. We had to wait two hours in the hot sun for the ferry on each end of the journey - and in a big packed crowd without a hint of social distancing. The beaches were lovely but the lack of dining options available reduced the charm of "going out." We joined the BHI Club as guest members but it was very much NOT worth it. Their pool reservation system was a mess (they admitted it) and it was really hit or miss to get a pool time. Wish someone had warned us about the no see um bugs on the beaches at night - we were mauled. THe house was fine but the fridge would never really get cold enough.

Thank you for your review! We apologize for the wait at the ferry terminal, due to the ferry running at half capacity it has been very challenging to get all guest over to a fully booked island. I'm sorry you were not pleased with the BHI Club, I would recommend reaching out to them to share you concerns. We will take a look at the fridge situation, thank you for letting us know.
