Hidden Shamrock is just steps to the beach, this beautiful property offers 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need. Large dining area can seat the whole family. Hidden Shamrock is the perfect beach vacation home for the whole family and is fully equipped with all the comforts of home, along with gorgeous ocean views.

Sleeps 8 (max.). 4 bedrooms (1K-1Q-1Q-2T). 3 full baths, 1 half bath. (1) 4 passenger cart and (1) 6 passenger cart. Pet Friendly. Hidden Shamrock is conveniently located near Beach Access #18, a two-minute walk away.

Check-in and out days in summer season is Saturday-Saturday. Ferry reservations should be made to coincide with the assigned check-in/out times which are 3:30pm property check-in and 9:00am property check-out. Ferry reservations should be made no earlier than 3:00pm. for arrivals and no later than 9:30am for departures. There are no accommodations made for early check-in or late arrivals.

Optional fees: Travel Insurance and Security Damage Waiver. Reservations will include the SDW non-refundable fee, if you choose to opt out of the SDW fee, a refundable Security Deposit will be charged to your reservation. The Security Deposit will be refunded within 30 days after checking out and no damage to property.

Review!

We loved the location of Hidden Shamrock, the house was so cute and central to everything. We did notice dead’s bugs upon our arrival as well as not as clean as you would expect.. the back door was broken / didn’t lock. However, overall we loved our stay! The house was also very kind friendly!

Great house

We loved the house and the layout, the short walk to the beautiful beach and the lovely sunset view from the deck. The back door did not lock. Also, we saw LOTS of roaches and centipedes (most of the roaches were on the lower level by the grill and trash but some were seen upstairs). We really loved the house and island but would recommend attention be given to those things mentioned.

Okay - but not great

First - the good things.... Great location with it being walking to the beach, great having golf carts, great layout of the house for 1-2 families. And it's dog friendly! Check in was easy with a representative when we got off the ferry. Secondly - the room for improvement.... the house needs to be treated for bugs. We have stayed at a lot of beach properties but never have we encountered as many. When we asked neighbors they told us they didn't have the issue because they sprayed. The biggest disappointment was that the oven broke midway through the week and we notified the rental agency and asked for a credit since we were having to eat out, but they said they would have to call the owners and never got back to us. That was very disappointing.

Unfortunately, sometimes we do have appliances that break, I hate the oven did on your stay. Please know we did provide a credit while you were in house, July 21st, and left a message on your cell phone. We appreciate your time to provide feedback, we hope to see you back on the island soon!

Great house

We have been coming to BHI for 27 years sometimes 2x a year. Hidden Shamrock is a great location to everything! The house has nice bedrooms and bathrooms, The kitchen (most important to our family of cooks) had nice appliances. The cookware and other necessities were lacking in quality and quantity. The silverware was really in need of replacement. We had a horrendous rain storm on our 4th day. Water came though the double doors leading to covered area of porch and also from the ceiling. The double doors do not lock witch was tricky as we had 2 toddlers who love to open and close doors. We all loved Ed the house and would come back again.

gem on bald head

perfect for multiple families and kids. walk to the beach, close to ferry, club, grocery, etc. great views from upstairs and street side porch. dunes are very pretty from downstairs.
