Seawinds

My review is just about the same as all these other reviews. The house is really nice, with fantastic proximity to an amazing beach. Plus side - location, beach, pets ok, kitchen set up (good selection dish ware and pots & pans, but I would bring my own knives if you cook a lot) porch, etc, like everyone else says. Minus side - not too many, also as others have pointed out, it could use a deep clean for sure. The cobwebs in the main ceiling are a little off-putting, and some spots on the floors need to be fixed, but minor issues. Would definitely come to this house again.

My family has stayed at Seawinds multiple times. Usually we are there for 2 weeks with one week reserved for family and the other for friends. The house is roomy and has comfortable rooms for all guests staying. They have done a recent upgrade for 2 out of the 3 bathrooms and that was a nice surprise. Very well equipped. The location is wonderful and a few steps away from a great beach access. Most appreciated is that they allow dogs so our much-loved furry family member does not miss time away from us. It has always been a wonderful stay. The rental company was also was extremely responsive. We will request this house again.

Our party of 9 stayed recently at Seawinds for a much needed summer break. The house was roomy and enough room for everybody. Plenty of amenities. The location and views were perfect! My concerns are that a for a house that sleeps 10, there were only 2 4-person golf carts and barely enough towels. Few areas needed paint touch ups and some large spider webs in ceiling. Over all it was a perfect stay for our multi family vacation. Quick response when one golf cart got a flat with a loaner brought right away! Thanks for a great stay!

We have been coming to BHI for years and always stay at different locations. We were extremely happy with our stay at Seawinds! It has a perfect location (steps away from the beach) and the house is comfy and inviting. We were a party of 10, so the 2 4-seater golf carts was a bit worrisome. But thanks to the bikes in the garage we had no problem getting our group around. Lots of beach chairs, a nice beach umbrella make days at the beach enjoyable and then puzzles, books and games kept us busy at night. The screened-in porch was a favorite spot during rainstorms. We did have an initial concern with number of bath and beach towels that were at the house, but Intracoastal responded immediately dropping off plenty for our group. No complaints. Would highly recommend Seawinds

We have rented on this beautiful island for ten years, and this is by far the most beautiful home and the best location we have shared. Convenient to Marina, market and Conservancy The kitchen was beyond well stocked and had every comfort. The garage was packed with beach toys, chairs and bikes. The game cabinet sustained us once the sun went down.The sunset views in November had the sun sinking into the horizon and visible from every window deck and room. Completely in love with Seawinds!

Intracoastal Realty was tremendously responsive. We had a flat tire a some point on both of our golf carts and we were inconvenienced a whole 15 MINUTES while they came and replaced the flat tire with a brand new one! Excellent Service to say the least!

The house does need some TLC. The screened in porch area needs painted and new mattresses in a few of the bedrooms would be recommended; new towels, washcloths; pillows etc.

We had a wonderful visit. Spent time enjoying seafood (wish more restaurants were open in October), watching the alligators, the sunsets, star-gazing, driving the golf carts, being on the beach, etc. Great weather!

We spent a week in the house and all in all things were great with the house. The house was equipped with everything my family needed. The internet worked great for the occasional work. There was a bed frame issue in one of the guest rooms but not enough to lose sleep over. The house is located right next to a beach access point and within 20 steps you are there. Would recommend the house!

Great location very quick and easy to get to the beach. The house was very roomy, easily fits eight people. Very dog friendly. Well equiped kitchen and easy to cook in. Nice deck good views durring the day and night.

The newly renovated house was in great shape and was well stocked. The location is perfect, with the beach access at the end of the driveway and being located halfway between the Shoals Club and BHI Club.

Excellent view and location. Not aware of the dredging going on and the large pipe across the beach limiting beach access. Restaurant food was very good. Trams ran as advertised.

This Lovely 4bdr 3 bath house is across a cart path from the ocean with nothing between this house and the beach , and only a few steps to the walkway to the beach. One 6 person golf cart and one 4 person golf cart with loads of bicycles, beach chairs, floats, 2 ocean fishing rod and tackle, nice open air 10x10 tent top for shade at beach, beach toys etc. you will absolutely love this place and the best price on the beach we could find. Everything works well and there is a keurig and mr coffee for our morning coffee in the screed in porch overlooking the ocean.
