Located at the peaceful cul-de-sac of Racerunner Court, The Bald Spot sits just moments from the marina and less than half a mile from South Beach. Step onto the inviting rocking-chair front porch and enter a bright, welcoming foyer. The main floor features two versatile bedrooms and a full bath, ideal for guests or setting up a home office. Upstairs, you’ll find two additional bedrooms, another full bath, and a dedicated laundry area, while the top-floor king suite boasts vaulted ceilings, a cozy reading nook, and a private workspace.

The heart of the home is the great room, where soaring ceilings and a wood-burning fireplace create a stunning space for entertaining. A screened porch offers tranquil views of the live oak canopy, and the adjacent dining area is surrounded by windows, connecting seamlessly to the kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, a roomy pantry, and a charming greenhouse window.

Enjoy the outdoors with multiple covered porches, a flat cul-de-sac ideal for bike rides, and a refreshing outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day at the nearby beach. The 0.26-acre lot is low-maintenance yet surrounded by a lush maritime forest.

Getting around the island is a breeze with a 4-seater and 6-seater golf cart, plus four beach cruiser bikes included with your stay. Guests can also inquire about an optional Bald Head Island Club Lifestyle Membership for access to golf, tennis, swimming pools, and dining. Note that the Bald Head Island Club golf course will be closed in 2027 for a major renovation.

Check-in and out days in the summer season are Friday-Friday. Ferry reservations should be made to coincide with the assigned check-in/out times: 3:30 pm property check-in and 9 a.m. property check-out. Ferry reservations should be made no earlier than 4:00 pm. for arrivals and no later than 9:30 am for departures. There are no accommodations made for early check-in or late arrivals.

Optional fees: Travel Insurance and Security Damage Waiver. Reservations will include the SDW non-refundable fee; if you choose to opt out of the SDW fee, a refundable Security Deposit will be charged to your reservation. The Security Deposit will be refunded within 30 days after checking out, and no damage to the property.
