Twin Peaks

We really enjoyed our stay at Twin Peaks. Great location w/ amazing views. The house was neat and clean with up to date appliances and amenities. Two small items to consider...The wifi worked great upstairs however the signal was very weak and hard to connect to downstairs. Maybe add a signal extender for downstairs. Also, the house only has one golf cart. So be prepared to rent an 2nd cart if needed. Carts currently rent for $100 /day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay during Thanksgiving. The views are beyond compare. I love watching the sunsets and the ferry come and go, plus all the river traffic. I also like being near the ferry terminal for ease of coming and leaving. We will definitely put it on our list for future stays!

Lovely stay at Twin Peaks. This was our 2nd time here. Love the views and the comfortability of the house. We will definitely be back. Just a couple of things: the shower Drain in the main level bathroom is very slow and water collects quickly when showering. Also, if the kitchen had salt and pepper and basic spices that would be helpful for cooking Otherwise, we were so happy with our stay and can’t wait to return.

We’ve stayed here multiple times over the last several years and you cannot beat the view, especially at sunset. My only recommendation would be to replace the shower heads in the downstairs master shower as they aren’t dispersing the water any different than a stream from a water hose. Beyond that, loved it as always and we will be back.

This was the most perfect house for our family gathering at Thanksgiving! The main room is open and spacious and perfect for family dinners and games after. I loved looking out the window and watching all the boats go by as I prepared food for my family. The easy walk to the harbor and to the beaches also proved Twin Peaks to be perfectly located. Thank you So much for the amazing thanksgiving memories at Twin Peaks!

Beautiful home on BHI! Our multigenerational family has stayed here 3 times over the past 10years and it never disappoints. The view of the water from the kitchen, family room, porch, and lower level bedrooms is incredible! Home is very well kept and comfortable for all ages. Comes with 6 passenger golf cart and you can buy guest memberships to shoals and BHI club for swimming pools and other recreational activities. Love BHI and my family’s favorite home on the island (do wish we could bring our dogs as island very pet friendly too). Owner graciously offered military discount. Highly recommend!!

This was our second time staying at Twin Peaks and we loved it again just as much as the first visit The location cannot be beat and the house itself is very clean and decorated beautifully. Intracoastal met us at the ferry with our welcome package which was a nice touch. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and serving pieces— I love to cook so this is an important factor me — I found Twin Peaks kitchen to be far better than other properties we have rented. We got a lot of use from the gas grill too which was a nice bonus conveniently located on the deck outside the kitchen area. We enjoyed fabulously weather and spectacular sunsets right from the deck. All in all a wonderful visit.

We highly recommend this vacation rental. Location is great and the house had everything that we needed and more. We enjoyed our time sitting on the porches watching the boats on the river, riding bicycles and exploring the island in the golf cart that was provided. Were also able to walk to several restaurants from the house. House was very, very clean and Intracoastal Realty was great to work with. We’ll definitely rent this house again.

We had an awesome time. We boated in and docked practically in front of the house. This made it convenient for daily fishing and loading and unloading boat.

The house is well layout out and comfortable, we would definitely stay again. I think we enjoyed the view from this house better than an ocean view. Got to see a lot of water activity which was relaxing on the great deck.

good experience overall. things were taken care of.
the cancellation policy is a little bit unrealistic, especially for the price you pay to go stay. they could definitely do better there.

also, the house is advertised as having club memberships. however, the bhi club was 'full' and did not take our membership request during the week we were there. its a bit misleading on the intracoastal page, and they don't mention the fact that the club could refuse your request. when i emailed ICR about it, the response i got was 'there's nothing we can do about it.'

bhi club now wants 2 day reservations to go to the pool and with a 2 hour time limit, which is a bit absurd when one is on vacation.


overall, bhi is a wonderful place and the vacation was awesome.

This is a beautiful house in an awesome location- close to all of the restaurants and a short golf cart ride to the beach. The property was well maintained and the view from the spacious balcony was absolutely gorgeous. The only complaint we had, which was also mentioned in previous reviews, was the slow speed of the golf cart. It was so slow that we found ourselves having to pull over to let others pass us whenever we used it.

Everything was lovely about Twin Peaks except the golf cart. It was extremely slow. It didn't have covers for protection from the rain. It stormed a few nights while we were there and we had dinner reservations at Shoals and had to cancel because the golf cart was not equipped to get us there. That was very frustrating. We would love to stay here again but if the golf cart is not updated we will not be staying again.

We enjoyed our quick stay at Twin Peaks. The location and views were great and it was very spacious. We were also happy to find several bikes we could use The only negatives are: 1) we had a hard time locking the front door, and 2) the golf cart was very very slow. I would recommend this property if the golf cart was fixed or replaced.

We have stayed here several times now, you absolutely cannot beat the view. We had a little trouble securing the golf cart curtains because several hooks were missing. Amy from Intracoastal Realty went above and beyond and installed them while my wife and I were at the spa. Another great trip!

We loved our stay at Twin Peaks. The location was great and the house was very comfortable and roomy for our family of two parents and four adult children. The house was clean and generally well-stocked although, compared to other houses we have rented elsewhere, we were surprised there were so few paper products and cleaning supplies. We were extremely disappointed in the way our departure was handled by the property management firm. We also found their communication before we arrived and while we there confusing and not terribly helpful.

House was fantastic. Situated almost adjacent to the harbor and over-looking the river "gave interest" that we wouldn't experience on the ocean. Good fishing spot too! This was our second year there. Will return again next year for sure!
