We had a wonderful family get together again this year. It’s a beautiful home in a great location. The kitchen was very clean this time, so thank you.
We only had 1 day of bad weather during our 2 week stay.

This is a beautiful home..the location is wonderful and the view is outstanding.
The place had a few no so clean spots in the kitchen and the grill is rusted and old but worked. The owner has the master closet and several closets locked and a lot of stuff in closets that were not locked, and a lot of clutter through out the house. Too much stuff and not enough for ours. Too much furniture. We had a couple of problems but the Intracoastal staff was wonderful! And responded quickly.

We continue to rent the Sandpiper each year because we enjoy the house and location so much.Some maintenance needs done like leaky faucets because the house is aging but still very nice.

The staff at Intracoastal Realty are very nice and professional.They are a pleasure to work with.This is the 4th year we have rented this property. The house and location is great. The only problem we had this year and the first time this has happened is the house was not very clean when we arrived.The staff at Intracoastal was apologetic and willing to address the issue.I still like the house and have booked it for next year.

Third summer we have stayed at the Sandpiper cottage. Fits our family very well and location is great being ocean front. Very relaxing home with that beach feel. Beautiful views of the beach and ocean.

Wonderful vacation! Excellent layout with lots of space for our family reunion. Terrific access to beach via private walkway. Open and bright living room opened to lovely covered porch. Bedrooms are comfortable and well furnished.
A few suggestions: provide microwavable dishes (the pretty sets of dishes provided couldn't be microwaved), replace old/flaking teflon pans, organize all dishes/pans as cabinets are overflowing w/ redundancies, silverware is in rough shape and ready to be replaced, turn off beeps from security system when doors open (we called the realtor about this but maintenance did not respond), replace burned out lightbulbs, sweep off walkway to beach near house, replace the gas grill which is on its last legs (a house of this size and at this price should have a well functioning grill).

Terrific two weeks at a beautiful property. We love the house - expansive and beautifully decorated, very homey. (A few maintenance items - 1) you'll want to flip the master bedroom mattress -cants down dramatically on the left side, facing the bed; 2) master bedroom door handle/lock to balcony needs repair; 3) front screen door slams hard - could be a hazard; a few planks popping up on walkway to beach)

We have rented Sandpiper before. The location is great. We like being right on the beach. The outside shower is nice to have. The porch on the second floor is lovely. The dining room has a beautiful large round table that seats a large crowd. The kitchen is fine, nice granite and appliances. Some of the living room furniture is beginning to look worn, but we really enjoy the house for the week we are there.

Home was very nice. Has a lot of "stuff"...all lovely, but limited room for our "stuff". House full of adults, parking our cars was an issue. Master bedroom doesn't have a closet to hang clothes! Kitchen well stocked with dishes and cooking ware for large crowds. More spacious than rental sites photos depicted.

We had a wonderful time at Sandpiper Cottage!! We celebrated a 60th birthday, had 3 generations staying. The elevator was very helpful. The views from the decks were amazing, with comfortable outdoor furniture & plenty of it. Didn't get a chance to use the gas grill, but looked in good working condition. Really enjoyed the kitchen, well stocked except for a large skillet & 9x13 inch pan. The dishes & serving pieces were beautiful & plentiful. The bar area had good supplies. Loved the spacious family room with the beautiful corner water views.
5 of the bedrooms were very comfortable & beautifully decorated. The master with King & bath, very spacious, did lack space to hand clothes. Instead of the painted screen (which was beautiful) a dresser or chest would be helpful. The lower bedroom with bunks is really made just for younger kids and is set up to accommodate 6, which is alot of kids in one room. The bedroom on top level had an amazing view & comfortable sitting area inside and out, a bit noisy if people talking in the family room. It was so nice to have a garage with space to park 3 cars inside and more space in driveway. The landscaping is really lovely, with window boxes and lots of outdoor plants. We would highly recommend this property to others and hope to return again!!

Property location was awesome. Grounds beautifully maintained.
Great outside shower. View spectacular!

House could be a great house and worth the rental fee if the owner paid more attention to detail. Owner needs to remove all the clutter/ personal items throughout the house. Kitchen needs new frying pans & wine glasses would have been appreciated. Decks were furnished nicely, but furniture cushions on deck outside great room were worn and needed replacing. TV's were all dated except the one flat screen in great room. Grill was rusty and dirty. Master Bedroom does not have a closet for guests, closet locked for owner's use, which meant living out of suitcases. On arrival, house was not cleaned to our satisfaction, but management addressed it immediately. Hoping owner will address these issues because we would like to rent this property again next year.

I would recommend this property to a friend, only after explaining the pros and cons, so they would know what to expect.

Enjoyed eating with young children at Banks Channel, which was very kid friendly. Adults liked The Bridge Tender Restaurant. Kids also enjoyed Jungle Rapids and Defy Gravity Trampoline Park.

The home was beautiful and location was Amazing .
Lots of beds and Trent me we tried them all / beds were not the comfiest but we made due. Loved sitting right on the porch with coffee in the AM
We did have to Rent a gas grill, which I felt that this caliber home should have had but it was fine
No other major issues. And intracoastal was very easy to work with

Wonderful location. Beautiful house and gardens. So close to the beach. The porch furniture on each level was so comfy it was hard to go inside. Some minor cleaning and maintenance things but the realty co is just fine to work with.

Our family of twelve enjoyed our stay at the Sandpiper Cottage. It was our first rental at Wrightsville Beach and we were very pleased with WB and the accommodations. Although the kitchen was well stocked, some newer, better skillets are needed.

Very Nice home to vacation in. Parking is tight for 4 or more cars. You have to maneuver vehicles around depending on who is leaving. Not much storage in the master suite for clothes. You have to almost live out of your suitcase. A dresser would be nice to unpack your clothes and a rod to hang clothes on. Overall the location and house are great. Will rent again next summer.

The sandpiper cottage was a charming property and was in a great location. However some of the rooms especially the master bedroom didn't have a closet or dresser to put clothes in. The porch furniture was very worn and dirty and some chairs were broken. The stair carpet was really spotted and worn. The kitchen was not clean when we arrived and was not stocked with appropriate serving bowls for a large crowd. There was a door front off which the previous guests said was the same when they arrived. Some of these things could have been overlooked if the price of the house had not so expensive.

Great location with wonderful view. Such a pretty home. Porches delightful, upstairs main living area charming and roomy for large family. Kitchen is wonderful place to cook. Bedrooms and baths lovely. A great house for a family beach vacation.
